Generally id say, if it feels like youre stretching out your hand on the fore end too much the stock is prob too long( causing the over reach) if it feels ok on the mount, you can most likely get used to it, but if youre failing to get your cheek comfortably on the stock durin the mount youre gonna keep missing and therefore the stock needs to be adjusted, Though in Ireland for some reason most lads just persist till they get as used to it as there ever gonna( due to lack of service in gunshops)
