@@G6JPG Not at all but she sings so much better than any other singers above all on stage .l have listened to her so many times singing a capella at the end of concerts and I always said her singing is unique.
I'm constantly amazed when I see the ease with which Nana Mouskouri speaks English in interviews - really naturally and totally relaxed. Then I watch her on French TV, interviewed and speaking fluent French. Then in German programmes, where she speaks in a more limited way, but still very easy to understand. An amazing multilingual talent. It's obvious why she was so successful in so many countries... and that's before you consider her wonderful singing voice.
This must be early 1986 when Nana was climbing in the British charts. And the English lyrics were written by N. Gimbel, not Mark Knopfler. And, incidentally, I doubt whether the original version was the English one. "L' amour en héritage, " the French version, was released in December 1984. And Nana sans it herself during the, interview.
@@hmg053 She is singing it in the original English, as written by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits. For other languages, look for: German: Der wilde Wien, 1985;,Aber Die Liebe Bleibt 1986; French: L'amour en héritage; Spanish: La Dicha del Amor; Italian: Come un'eredità.
When was this? Obviously When Terry Wogan's show was on. I'm guessing 1984-1986, as those are the dates I have for her other recordings of it (including in German[2versions]/French/Spanish/Italian).
"Boneca Musical" voz incomparável, presença que faz alegrar corações... É a voz mais bonita porque canta os sentimentos das pessoas! Um presente para quem ama Nana Mouskouri! Presente de Deus! 🎶🌹🌹👏🎶
