  • Crispy on the outside with a light and chewy dough on the inside! Filled with satisfying savoury Japanese curry with potatoes, carrots, onions, and bell peppers-but you can get creative with your veggies (or even tofu) of choice! These are usually cooked by frying to a golden brown crisp, but can also be baked!

    Thanks for showing the realistic way, cause sometimes people make food that makes it look like they just bought it from the resturant, and the end finished product does not look like what we did it the first time, so these are great, thank you!

    I made these! And they are absolutely delicious they are crunchy and chewy and the filling is great! I did have more left over curry than I thought I initially would but that was quickly eaten up. I've been vegetarian for 5 months now and finding new recipes like these are wonderful in helping me with my diet!

      Hehe I do. A lot of groceries now carry them :) the brand S&B is really good. If you can find in a Japanese grocery near you, that’d be better cause they have more options and it’s also cheaper :)

      Basically you have to use these Indian spices: cumin powder, amchur powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garlic/onion powder, turmeric, salt, cinnamon powder and some cornflour.

    Hi. Can I use other oil like coconut or olive oil? Also for the sugar, can I use coconut sugar? :)

    • @TheFoodieTakesFlight
      @TheFoodieTakesFlight  2 роки тому

      I wouldn't recommend coconut sugar because it has a distinct coconut flavour that can affect the overall taste. But you're free to use olive oil :)

    • @TheFoodieTakesFlight
      @TheFoodieTakesFlight  4 роки тому +1

      Hi! I don't own an air fryer so I didn't get to try it but I did try baking this and turned out good. I believe an air fryer just works like an oven but faster, so it should work too :)
