There is a really neat chicken feathering calculator that I love to use before I cross my breeds just to see what the babies may look like. It’s such a fun tool. I highly recommend. Kippen jungle I believe.
You have to start with the original pure bred lines to make sure you are accounting for hidden genetics. Then you can use the offspring from the original breeds to breed with other breeds or breeds you created. It’s as accurate as the information you input. It took me a while of playing with it to figure out how to work it. But I’m getting better at it. The inputs can be extremely detailed. Although the images are subpar to what the chicken actually looks like. It doesn’t account for size, comb types, feathered legs, or shape. Just the feather coloring and patterns. It would be amazing if it could do everything.
