Frank’s Final Tour - Part 2

- After a brief stay in Jordan, we finished the journey. Frank has been delivered to his new home.
And, now, it’s time to put the focus on the wheat harvest.
We arrived to a desolate farmyard. One combine was gone and we figured they were testing the moisture.
It looks like the games will begin tomorrow!

I'm sure that Frank have found good new home, from what I remember from last season, they keep the kit in good working order, and Frank will get to pull a load once in a while without getting to beat up doing it.

Funny fact to me, our family is meeting in Goodland KS this weekend, in between harvest in in Ks and MT. My family that live in MT are from Harve, Harloton, Judith Gap and Lakeside.

I add 2 stroke oil to my diesel to add lubrication to injection pump and injectors seems to help and I have over 1.2 million miles on engine.

At 11:50 you scan the dash and I notice Frank has the scrap piece of paper wedged on the dash vent - such a classic fix to a Freightliner. Maybe a cut piece of broom pole to hold the dash up? I am hoping for Frank updates from its new home. A lot of life left. Thank You!
Nope, nothing holding the dash up. Paper was to keep the vent from moving.

Surprisingly green for once. Must have got a little bit of rain. Going out and cutting for 2 or 3 weeks will help you to finally get it out of your system. Living here in the hilly and more populated Mid Atlantic region for me seeing all of those miles of flat nothing is something that for me takes some getting used to.

I've watched you and Jim for several years now, but I never caught why you stopped harvesting and sold all of your equipment.
Another great video! It was fun watching it. Funny story how Frank got his name! I noticed the windmills in your video, there are lots of them here in the Netherlands too. I notice that during the ride you come across a few abandoned houses and/or sheds. Such a shame that they are deserted, but I can imagine that it is not feasible to live far from the nearest village or town. I remember in another video you once stopped and had a look at such an abandoned house. I really love Montana, even though it sometimes seems deserted, especially on the roads between the cities. I think Frank did a good job! It must be fun to meet the people on the farm in Montana again!
Montana is my favorite! As far as getting back to the farm, it felt like we never left.
Another nicely done video, and it looks like Frank will have a good home. The crop in your video is about the same as here on the Palouse. I have set my alarm for the first week in August. After retiring a few years ago, I just drive for my neighbor during harvest.
Love it guys, it's amlost like being home again. You went right by my hometown of Geraldine, which was established by the Milwaukee Rail Road and named for Geraldine Rockerfeller. From the top of the Arrow Creek hill clear over to Ft. Benton I was watching and naming off where you were at! Also, bit of trivia for you. Lewistown is the geographic center of Montana, there's actally a marker in the Yogo Inn that supposedly marks the exact spot.

Broadus Montana, just south of their toward Gillett Wyoming late one night hauling chems to Williston I incontered a line of mule deer crossing the road and it tore my truck up. Plastic trucks and deer are a bummer, I would liked to have had frank looks clean.
Frank has been WELL TAKEN CARE OF! Sorry to hear of your bad luck with those darn deer. They’re so bad up here.
After watching you the past few years ,I have came over from NZ to work for Keith and Kyle at Loma. I now i know about the golden hr in the evenings , just magic.

I honestly don’t know how many acres they farm. A lot. I really have no reason to know this number. And if I did, out of respect for them, I wouldn’t share.
