    Love a photographer that knows what he/she is doing, tells me which side looks good, or if I need to show more hips or so....recommends some pose and at the same time, I'm having a blast.

      @Briana Sealy the only thing about knowing her settings is it will always change depending upon the lighting situation. It's best to study and practice, practice, practice. This is a friendly suggestion...

    Hi Carlee, thank you so much for posting this tutorial. I have a grad photo shoot tomorrow and I think this is going to be very helpful. I'm curious as to which f/stop most of your photos were shot using. I see that your lens goes as wide open as 1.8, but did you use that setting or something a bit narrower? I ask because I have a Canon 50 mm 1.4 and while practicing with my daughter today I noticed that many of the photos are much too soft when shot at 1.4. Thinking I may need to shoot at least at 2.8. Thanks for your feedback.

    • @carleesecor
      @carleesecor  4 роки тому +2

      Ethan Roberts Hi Ethan, glad this helped. I always shoot at 1.8 with my Sony, but if the images are soft I would try 2.2.

      @@carleesecor thank you so much for your prompt response. You rock! I was going to try different apertures for the same poses and see which ones I like best. 2.2 is definitely one I'll have in the mix.

    These poses are great! I'm definitely going to use them for today's shoot. I'm just curious, do you have anyway to get your models to stop giggling? A lot of the people I shoot feel awkward so they giggle and laugh throughout. It's cute for some photos but I'd love to get more of the softer smiles. Any advice?
