Way to leave us hanging at the end of the video with: "Although it may cause alarm to have such a facility on the mainland, it may actually be safer." Then the video abruptly ends, with no reasons why it would be safer. The Plum Island bio-risk director only mentioned that they've been affected by hurricanes and other "bad sea conditions." However, Kansas is affected by tornadoes, rainstorms and floods, like most of the country. How will the new center be safe from those and other hazards? When it opens to the press, let's hope that Bloomberg and other media will be there to report on it.
They probably don’t want to admit that this facility was never up to code and that stuff has been leaking out of here for years. Just look how decrepit it looks. Top secret aka zero oversight or accountability.
@@christianjon8064That building you saw that was behind the guy talking was the old facility no longer in use. The current building is quite modern. It is the other building shown in the video
I work in biotech and I would absolutely leave everything on that island! Easier to contain if there was an outbreak versus literally the middle of the country.
"It is now safe to build these containment centers on the mainland." Cut to FANTASTIC use of b-roll footage of someone carrying a specimen walking backwards instead of using a trolley..........
Let me tell you all about my fellow scientists. They are to busy seeing they could rather than asking if they should. Quite dangerous mentality, but it's common.
That ending lol, feels like there was going to be more to her statement but then BAM it just ended. I’m guessing this was aired on Bloomberg television and they cut it short for UA-cam?
Nice Valentine, Bloomberg. Because they’ve done such a great job keeping us and our food so safe across decades? Bravo lately. We have been regularly failed by our well-paid institutions so terribly.
the director was shrugging his shoulders and raising his eyebrows a lot, its no suprise they didnt show his face the whole time he was talking. seems legit

Safer they say. Don't trust em. Putting it smack dab in the center of the country?
Foreign "doctors" doing the same work, for a new boss?? Selfannihalation??😮 Now we know what happened to the previous civilizations.🤭
Whatever you do, DON'T buy plum jam produced on that island.
Noticed how light weighted all this stuff was presented? It's just another breakfast ad, move along

It’s okay they’ll just move it to China or Ukraine
And you happen to be absolutely correct!
I am biomedical and I agree! 👏
Hello fellow biomed! @@Imagooni
Exactly

Wonder how much the govt paid to have them throw that line in at the end. Way to not technically lie guys - it ‘may’ actually be safer. Yeah okay.

Why and What's their reasoning for this 'Moving a Hardcore Bio Lab' to the Exact Middle of the United States?! _
The scary part is how easy it is for that guy to lie.
I'm supposed to take Mr. Polka Dot at his word?...... Seriously, could not have been scripted better.
The conspiracy y'all forgot about..
Fort Detrick is already on the mainland and there’s nothing safe about it.
What are they doing about Lyme's disease?
Spreading it.
@@DJCole34yep
Plum island is only 10 miles from Shelter island and around 20 from Lyme, Connecticut.
We the People first then the CONSTITUTION and finally LIMITED government. WAKE ⏰️ up ⏰️ PEOPLE. 😊
What about Lyme disease?
You mean the island that accidentally released Lyme (CT) disease ? That Plum Island?
Aaaannnd... here come the idiots.
It maybe safe ??? That's right maybe. Lets prove it being safe. If they could it would of been done. But they can't. That's the point !!
Lol i love how hard he is lying. Theres literal proof of the things hes calling "conspiracy" 🤣🤣
“And that’s really unfortunate”
Are they gonna have air b n b’s available?
Sure .we believe everything you say here
did it work?

Look into fort Detrick. It's just as crazy and it's on the mainland in Maryland.

bgmusic: incessant background music = guaranteed DOWNVOTE.
I hope dude is wearing a lot of bug spray
