Hey Lvluxegirl, I'm a NYer through and through, from Strong Island to uptown Harlem.
I have the latest collection of the travel books, bought myself or gifts from my partner. Love them such a nice addition to a library or living room people always talk bout them.
I was doing some reasearch about LV books and I found your video and I enjoyed it so so much. Answering your question 3 years after you did it lol, haha. If I ever received an LV gift in that gourgeous bag and box and discovered it is a book I would be super happy because it probably took that special someone time and effort to pick it up for me and every single time I see or open this book I would certainly think about him or her.

Logan, the city guides are great too. Especially if you going to travel and there's information you need to know about the city. These are a little more on the artsy side. You know what, there's no either or with LV...LOL. get both. LOL.

Awesome video Deb! The illustrations are beautiful & really capture each landmark perfectly. And as far as receiving any of the books as a gift, I'd gladly accept with no hesitation lol. Now, I would be happy to receive any gift to including one of these books. With THAT said, if someone who knows me VERY WELL gifting me one of these books I would be upset if it wasn't at least from a country I'm interested(visited) in. Yep, I'm on 'ban island" and can only buy books and bandeaux, LOL.
But why are taxes where you live so crazy? Didn’t know they had a South Africa book, that would be a fun addition for me. Thanks sharing, the art work is beautiful and your trip down memory lane👍🏾👍🏾 just my husband giving me ANY LV box would lead to me fainting.

Ashely, yes,they should unless they are still using the holiday packaging. I've seen some recent unboxings that still had the holiday packaging. That said, they should go back to the blue ribbon.

The New York Travel Book is my favorite as well. It brought back so many memories for me. I just hope Louis Vuitton does not increase the price of these books. They are really nice to have. I picked up another travel book while I was on vacation in Cancun and the price for that book was cheaper at Louis Vuitton in Mexico. Honestly if my husband handed me an LV box my expectation would be for something more then a book .. The book is very beautiful and would love it as a gift and would not be disappointed if I were expecting it ... xx
