I just bought a tpsm tool to reset mine cause I thought it needed reset. I took my car in to get all 4 tires replaced and afterwards my TPSM kicked on. So I ended buying the tool to reset it. found out my rear left isn't signaling at all. I have no way of getting my tire off to fix this myself so that sucks. but thanks for the vid, I at least know now.
Bro I really like ur videos man ur very skillful and knowledgeable person and u really take ur time making these videos slowly that ur viewers can understand what ur doing great job brother keep it up 🎉❤
Excellent video. Just one dumb question. How is the TPMS sensor connected to the central computer unit of the vehicle. I dont see any wiring out of it. Pardon my ignorance
It's a wireless communication system. Most "bad," tpms sensors simply have a dead battery. The design of them however generally prevents the battery from being replaced, and thus new sensors are installed, and re-learned.
Also if left unchecked a bad tire pressure sensor can run your battery down. This happened to me several times till I found out what the problem was a bad tire pressure sensor will leave an open circuit drain your battery.
My 2010 Ford Mustang has 4,382 kilometers on the odometer. I took it in to Canadian Tire as the low tire pressure light was on. I waited 7 hours and was charged $300.00 but they put in a defective valve stem. The mechanics there are useless and they should watch this video.
Very good video! I have a feeling on my wife's 2015 that the valve stem is leaking, can the valve stem only be replaced? We replaced the tires as they were worn but still have a slow leak.
@@kas0016 I got it fixed! The pressure sensor does unscrew from the stem. Broke down half the tire to put it in then realigned the tire back so not to throw off balance. When I got the new stem, it even came with a new screw to refasten the sensor. 👏 Edit: The stem was OEM and was maybe $4?
Great video, I've got a Ford focus ecoboost 2011 and I'm getting the deflate error abs light and traction control coming on. If I try and reset the tyre pressure settings it tells me theres and error and can't save it. Is there anyway I can tell if it's a sensor specifically causing the issue?
Can you share a link to your video for activating a new tpms sensor for ford focus? I bought new ones because the tire shop damaged them and I want to program/connect/activate them. Thank in advance.

Mine made 3 years and about 65k miles...and you can't put a battery in it..have to buy another one. Stupid stupid tech... they are never accurate and essentially a waste money.
Hi ,thanks for your advice. Update- I fixed my tpms problem. I replaced one bad tire and the sensor ( one sensor= $90.00 at dealership)hoping that was the only bad sensor. But i had to purchase a training tool for $15 bucks online to train the new sensor to my car. The tool also allowed me to test my other sensor to make sure they work. Next time I will buy a set of 4 sensors online for less then one sensor at the dealership have them installed and train them myself. I understand now how expensive a tpms issue can get if you don't do your research. And thanks to the youtube comment section community.
@@westernwagal9493 look up, Ford quick tips #47 (on youtube of course), the guy explained everything perfectly in my opinion. I bought that same tool for my ford fusion saved me hundreds. If you end up buying the tool online you don't need to buy the $ 40.00 motor craft one ,you can buy the same generic type for $15 🙂 and same with the sensors

Probably too late for this reply but of course you can remove the valve core within valve core tool. Very inexpensive

Did you find a way to activate the new tpms
You need a rpms programmer
Tpms
I have a 2013 Ford Edge 2.0L Ecoboost Turbo that’s showing the TPMS on the dash. Will it require reprogramming if I change them on the 4 wheels?
"...guys."
Can i use GT mustang TPMS to my ecoboost mustang?

Bawahaahaa 🤣
Can I do the same thing with my 2015 f150
From the looks of that tire tread, they need a new set.
Fiesta don't need programming? Car bib for self?
Hi... I got a question... if I order a tpms sensor from ebay for a Ford festia 2015 plate. How can I reprogramme it to the car?
I changed for new only one, rear left, the problem is I can’t upset, my car is Ford Fiesta 2014
I have 2013 focus. Can I just replace the batterys?

dude needs to slow town with his talking lol
Do i need to change my sensor cause it says on the screen tire pressure monitoring fault.. pls help me
TPMS sensors have a battery that lasts 7 yeaRs or 150,000 miles. If you've past any of these two, chances are they need to be replaced.
Mine made 3 years and about 65k miles...and you can't put a battery in it..have to buy another one. Stupid stupid tech... they are never accurate and essentially a waste money.
Are the TPMS sensors still located in the same location in the recent models? We have ford territory titanium. Thank you for anyone who can answer
There's not really much reason to move them. They'll always be at the valve stem, just the way they are designed
Can someone help with a question. How do you find out which tire sensor is faulty? Or do I have to replace them all?
I would replace them all
