- Apologies for the extended hiatus, but I'm back to talk about new FILLOWS from General Mills. This cereal resembles a similar concept from Kellogg's -- but we won't mention that cereal. Fillows pack a sugary punch, but they are delicious. Hopefully we see more flavors from this brand in the future.

I recall that Sugar Smacks came in a foil bag, back in the ‘70s.
As did Corn Pops and Apple Jacks if I recall correctly. I'm sure there were others in addition to those.

It's almost like a resurrected version of Hidden Treasures but without the fruit flavor
Hidden treasures was my favorite cereal back in my days and I want to see it return

I also loved both of these flavors. I think it would be neat to see a blueberry pie version or a peanut butter cream version of the Fillows. The latter would be similar to a fluffer nutter sandwich.
Fluffer Nutter! We need that cereal! I mentioned something like that by adding marshmallows to a PB cereal.

The cookies and cream ones are what Oreo-Os should strive to be. I think their next move should be fruity Fillows.
Gabe you are absolutely right about the cereal Krave. It's a major letdown. In regards to these Fillows cereals, they look like cereals I would enjoy. Especially the Cookies and Cream one, although I am a cinnamon cereal fan as well. As usual my introduction to a new cereal is via your amazing channel. This Hershey's cereal has been sold in Japan as a collaboration with Kellogg's for a few years. They've got more flavors over there including matcha and strawberry. I wonder if they're identical or if the US version is slightly different.

I saw fillows in the store last week and I was hoping you would do a video on them. Now that they have your approval, I’ll have to give them a try.
I just had a bowl for a midnight snack! Let me just say, I’ve always had a huge sweet tooth and I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch so I figured this would be perfect for me. After half way through the bowl it felt like all I was eating was icing...🥴
Couldn’t even finish the bowl. Way too sweet!

It's like you and I are on different cereal spectrums or frequencies XD Lol. I like these cereals. They have a good flavor but their disconcerting sickly sweetness prevents me from ever buying them again. I do love that cereal that shall not be named and it's double chocolate varient because the sweetness to chocolate ratio is perfect, well atleast in my opinion. :)
If everyone had the same tastes the world would be a boring place.
Considering I usually only eat dry cereal as a snack, these look fantastic.

Glad to see your review! I got a box of the Cinnamon Roll Fillows. I agree they arent bad, a little too sweet for a cereal in my opinion, and i ended up eating the bag of them as a dry snack after only 1 bowl with milk.
Agreed. They are even too sweet for me. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I really like the taste. But I can only eat a dry handful from time to time.
I've tried both. The Cookies & Creme ones are good. The Cinnamon Roll ones are amazing!

I actually haven't changed much on the wall because it's basically for the old nostalgic boxes I love. I don't add newer cereals to it.

Welcome back. Interesting this type of cereal seems to be a big thing right now as Pop Tarts cereal just released a cookies and cream version that I liked. I haven't seen these yet but I'll definitely try these when I find them

Just found this at the Dollar Tree. Can't wait to try them, they sound tasty!
I just bought them myself today, I'm impressed at the large 22-oz family size for a dollar but the taste is not what I was expecting.
They have a chewy, mealie, almost graham cracker like taste, since they're wheat-based and I didn't know that.
You would expect a Cinnamon toast crunch level of flavor being a general Mills Product, but really it is far more subdued like soggy croutons.

Walmart has a sample station for this stuff and I tried the Cinnamon one and it was surprisingly good.

Wow I saw that in my Walmart
When I was like 3 or 4, there was a Hershey's Cookies and Cream cereal that was on grocery shelves, and I don't remember trying it because I was probably 3 or 4 years old.

Is it possible that the foil pack was chosen for air removal freshness? Where the cereal is a bit bigger, a partial vacuum might keep from banging together and breaking during shipping?

I tried the cinnamon one. Found it waaaaay too sweet. Tasted fine, but I couldn't even finish a bowl of it.
I can't disagree with that assessment. It is definitely VERY sweet. That's why I just keep it on the shelf and grab a small handful whenever I want a sweet snack. A bowlful is too much.

I tried the Cinnamon roll one. Very very good. Should've got the Hershey's one, but decided to get the Fruit Loops Birthday Cake. To be honest, the Fruit loops one sucks! I always hated fruit-loops, but love these.
