No, the song is not about a funeral. This is a song about how to love your parents so that our children see it and treat us the same way! Both guys with Georgian roots. These are their speech tunes. Both live in Russia. The second guy's father died and he loved him. Engaged in freestyle wrestling.
I am so glad no one was battling Fernando of Portugal. No one could. Some close battles, like in Bang bang neither should go through as in Holland maybe both. Glad I am not the judge

Hi Deborah, the title of this song is "let us pray for our parents" in English!
It seems to me that the two contestants lost their parents when they were children and this song touched them in the battle, which make Dima to interfere sometimes to try to put them under control!

Can someone explain to me what a knockout is ? I can't really find the translation in my language.
It seems to me that "The Voice: la plus belle voix" does not have the phase called "Knockout".
According to Wikipedia :
"Format (The Voice: la plus belle voix)
The series consists of three phases: a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows. Four judges/coaches, all noteworthy recording artists, choose teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Each judge has the length of the auditioner's performance (about one minute) to decide if he or she wants that singer on his or her team; if two or more judges want the same singer (as happens frequently), the singer has the final choice of coach.
Each team of singers is mentored and developed by its respective coach. In the second stage, called the battle phase, coaches have two of their team members battle against each other directly by singing the same song together, with the coach choosing which team member to advance from each of four individual "battles" into the first live round. Within that first live round, the surviving acts from each team again compete head-to-head, with a combination of public and jury vote deciding who advances onto the next round. In the final phase, the remaining contestants (top 8) compete against each other in live broadcasts. The television audience and the coaches have equal say 50/50 in deciding who moves on to the final 4 phase. With one team member remaining for each coach, the (final 4) contestants compete against each other in the finale with the outcome decided solely by public vote.

Just like in the battle rounds, the coaches can steal one eliminated artist from another coach."

Why? Because you hate the fact somebody can speak languages you don't understand?
Has nothing to do with hate. In almost every song there is a message in it. When its a non-english song, you dont get the message which is the biggest part of the song.

Thats why its called "the voice", you'll understand just from listening. They just cover songs but it is not their song, their weapon is their voice. If youre having a hard way judging, close your eyes and let your ears thread their voice.
