Just like to mention how much I enjoy your videos and the long play format of them. Your sessions are the best at displaying the games and you've absolutely become my go to channel to judge whether one is for me or not.

I really like watching the BGG Game Night! series. I like Man v Meeple for its information and professionalism. I like Rahdo for his personality (he's kinda like a guy doing board games after having a Monster drink .). The Game Boy Geek does a professional and thorough job. But you two are what I enjoy the most. You do a very good job giving us a feel for the game. But you two, far and away, have great personalities. So, I learn a lot about a board game and enjoy watching the video too. Thanks again for the hard work.

Nice playthrough! Definitely some nail-biting moments. It's interesting to see where people strike the balance between replayability and story. Given that the base game has 15 chapters in 3 acts, even if someone never replayed a chapter, they'd have enough game to last a year. The fact that losing means you restart could be seen as frustrating - as many 7th continent players found. I'd prefer something more like a legacy game where you just keep going. It also puts a bit of a damper on their much touted "your actions will have long-lasting consquences" when you basically get to time-travel if things don't end up your way.

Hey guys, could we have some closeups of the game components as you explain the rules and maybe during the playthrough? I know it's more work, but the bird's eye view doesn't really allow us to see much and I think a lot is lost by only looking at the table from 4' away. For this game in particular, you could have tightened up the field of vision at least in the beginning to cut off the extra cards and components so we could see the board better.

Also he needed to spend an energy to talk to the smith since that’s obviously 2 separate explore actions. She couldn’t lower her terror that turn or the next because her characters weakness.
Next turn she should have gotten xp for the combat (i think there are symbols for that on the lower left). He forgot to refund his energy take back during his first combat. He couldn’t heal after the combat because he was exhausted with grevious wounds. There was probably more but I skipped around and stopped watching. I don’t have the game yet and haven’t read the rules, but this is what I noticed in passing.

Thanks for the playthrough! Definitely looks like another cool game from AR but yeah this helped to confirm that it's not exactly what I was looking for although I wouldn't mind to try a scenario if someone else got it. The narrative sounds intriguing but probably reading a good fantasy novel or even a game book like Destiny Quest would be cheaper and far less complicated lol.

I have to say that between new games coming out with higher frequency, the story experience of these type of games and the time it takes to play a game session, replayability, in my opinion, is seriously not even a consideration when I judge games nowadays. I have maybe 10 of this type of scenario-driven games in my collection and even if each and every session played out EXACTLY the same I'd still be playing over 400 hrs of gameplay. And I have a job, family and other interests to compete for my time as well! So, replayability? Who still cares about that?

Hi Francis, hi Anthony. First time commenter but long time follower of your channel. Thanks for your great work and the insight you give us (the viewers) into yet unpublished games. I would like to know how you felt about the overall use of language in TAINTED GRAIL (wording, spelling, etc.). As you had a sneak peak into the story book, I'd value your opinion on that, as the game is very text heavy and a bad style or too many mistakes would really kill the atmosphere. Merry Christmas, Martin

That's one thing I prefer not to have in a game, is to get through the story to only fail and have to restart the game.
Yes, you can go on a different path but I want to get to the end without having to restart 'x' amount of times. I already have a game like this. I'll probably pass on this. Plus the exchange rate for this Kickstarter plus shipping, for me, will be over $300. BUT, it would be pretty sweet to own/play this game.

Are you planning to do some older established games? There are plenty of other channels doing KS stuff. Let see Caverna or a multiplay of one you did yonder age ago solo, La Grunja as a multiplayer. I actually agree strongly with Francis’ concern about doing these type of games. It’s a bit of a turn off knowing, really, it’s just a promo rather than what is tradition on your great way of running the channel.

You changed allot of things around such as the item used, then not used, it made it a bit hard to figure the game and the rules out, hence my edit of this post. Also, they way you constantly changed you fighting sequence made the fight seem messy, you should perhaps keep to your decisions a bit more or accept that you lost from bad decisions.
