Hey guys! I'm the designer and artist, just want to say this video made me very happy! I like the format of your summary where you bring up one topic at a time like replayability, weight etc. Very informative.
Just a few things: - 24:08 The Bed Builder requires a Carpenter (it says so on the card, but the padlock symbol is missing on that one), so Anthony should pay his Carpenter an extra two coins from the bank (+2 on final score for A). At 41:19, notice that he DOES count it as a padlock when scoring the locksmith. - 31:22 Frances has a Tinner, so she doesn't have to pay Anthony's Harvester (-2 for A and +2 for F on final score) - 32:14 Frances puts 2 coins on the Brewer instead of the Cooper, but at 38:28 she notices this and pays herself an extra 2 coins (-2 for F on final score) - 39:41 The Smuggler also has a padlock with a Shipwright on it, so Anthony should pay the bank another 2 coins (-2 for A on final score) So final scores should be: 99 for F and 95 for A Also, although the order in which the players put coins from the bank on villagers on the road to prevent them from being discarded doesn't seem to matter that much, Anthony goes before his turn on several occassions.
Frances should have 2 Dollars less, because she got 2 Dollars from the bank for the Cooper and rearranged it from the Cooper to the Brewer @32:14. @38:25 she saw, that the Cooper has not the appropriate amount of money on it (of course, it is on the brewer ;) and took the "missing" 2 Dollars. Therefore, I would say the game ends in a tie ?!
Few do it better than Ant Lab. You guys are a wonderful couple making wonderful content. You give the married gamers out here life goals. LOL. Take Care! I look forward to getting my KS pledge of this one, for sure!
34:23 The Apprentice card is not a take that type. It acts in a non-harmful way. Non-top card means a covered card (i.e. one that is further up the production chain). Great vid as usual, thanks.
Great video ya'll! I discovered your channel for the first time while looking for Villagers' playthroughs. I especially appreciate your family tone (which is why I love Dice Tower) keeping everything clean and amazing production value:) Subscribed and glad to add ya'll to my repertoire of Boardgaming information!
the second market you ARE supposed to score the coins on the cards same as first market only difference is you're scoring the gold from your silver also
Another great show guys! Being a word nerd I thought you might want to know that a CANDLER is yet another skill/profession, the person who holds up eggs to a candle to sense embryonic development. Also I guess people do it with wine too?
One comment. At the 6 minute point you talked about the 2 player feature of putting a coin on a card to lock it in. You are not required to do this if you don't want to. The rules say you "may" put a coin on a card.

Thanks for the beautiful game! We in Bangkok love this game very much on both mechanics and aesthetic ;) thanks!
@@evrys Glad to hear that:)

Really falling in love with your channel! I love seeing more obscure games being played. Keep up the great work. :)

The tinner is any *villagerS* played together with it so she shouldn't have paid his harvester the 2 that she did.
39:37 Anthony didn't have shipwright when he played the Smuggler so he shouve had paid the bank 2 Gold and therefore had 2 less gold.

Great review and play through. Will definitely watch some more of your stuff after this.

Nice playthrough, I enjoyed it. I was wondering; that coins that you are using, they come with game or is it something custom?

Great video, fun to watch and made it easy to learn. Looking forward to getting my family hooked.
@ 18:52 you can draft the top card from any face down stack
Great playthrough! Thanks! Looking forward to fulfillment in a few months~

I have also kickstarted this one. It is nice to know you guys liked it, i guess i just have to wait a couple months ;)
This is my most eagerly anticipated game, backed it from the start and played it at last years UK Expo, can’t wait, great play through.
"Hayer's gonna hay." I groaned so loud, my wife heard me in the other room.
Slappin cards with Anthony and Francis!
Great video! Quick questions, where can I get the different trays and bowls you're using in the videos?
The red tray with the coins I think is from Board Game Boost. I have one and it is awesome
Thanks for doing this. I wish I knew people who liked board games.
How do you get the premium coins? They appear to be made from better material other than cardboard.
What are those nice little magenta things your are keeping your coins in? Where did you get them from?
Sword of Truth call out was great.

Looks like a great game for my wife and me. Thanks for the playthrough and review.
What is your favorite set collection game?
I really like deck builders best, so what is your favorite there?

Ant’s Hayer is looking pretty grey
