before you root would it be better to lighly colour the scalp? It seems it might make blending easier....or would that just look odd? A newborns scalp is translucent so you can see the darker hair under the skin....?

@TheMaroon5luva - No I don't think they will stock them as they are not used in sewing machines.
I do sell the needles on my website in many sizes.
@alma2600 - No I haven't reborned laura Tuzio Ross kit - Walter is a sold out edition and I can no longer get this kit.
@MrLadybug4 - There is no set number of layers, you just keep going until your happy with the look.

@NadimahElizabeth - I like to paint the scalps / under hair and add mottling, it makes it look more realistic.
@babygirl5282 - If you are using Genesis paints then each layer needs to be baked.

I noticed you said you still have the lashes and eyebrows to go, would you root the eyebrows???
@kelseysthename7 it takes 1/4 ounce for a newborn and a 1/2 for a 9 month one so like the 26 inch ones
