We home schooled for 4 years until I had to return to full time work. Best time of our lives. God had other plans. We transitioned to a Christian school. She was evaluated and told she was beyond her grade level. Praise God we had that time. She is now working on her Masters degree. My heart is so full of pride for her and how God has used her in so many ways. Thank you for your videos and sharing your journey as well.
I was just thinking about you. Thank you for yummy yummy recipes that are nutritious. There are a lot of cooks on UA-cam that only make food that I would not want to eat. I chose life! 😂😂😂 Love your channel❤❤❤
Amber I understand. We put tile down in our entire home and we removed the baseboards and haven’t put them back and that was back in 2023 so I understand. Just get around to it when we can. Life sometimes gets in the way. ❤❤❤
I'm a little late to the game 😂. How much coco power if I want to make a chocolate cake? I've never made scones but I love them. Especially blueberry scones. Any ideas how to make them? You just keep knocking the recipes out of the park.
Cilantro requires a deep pot and room to grow, so no overcrowding. Additionally, it needs a short light cycle of 5 - 6 hours maximum. ( It is usually grown when cool outside and a shorter daylight cycle.) The temperature of the soil is important and should be around 70 F. It can be fertilized with fish emulsion. None of this is ideal for indoor growth, but it might grow well on an unheated porch during the fall.
Hi Amber. I really wish I had homeschooled my son. He is very intelligent but also had a lot of behavioral problems. Unfortunately the schools he went to didn't understand how to deal with him or how to teach someone who is much more intelligent than the other kids in the class. For the most part he was his own teacher. With the scones, I do not have sourdough starter, do I have to change the amount of flour or change anything? I love the recipes you share. Thank you for all you do.
I believe you would need baking soda or baking powder instead. Boys definitely need a different style of teaching than what is traditionally offered in schools. I feel so blessed that I get to homeschool so I can give him what he needs.
Cilantro should be grown in cool weather. Unfortunately, it doesn't like even mild temperatures above 70ish. It's fickle. It stinks if you grow tomatoes and peppers for salsa since they are heat lovers.
Please ....those that tell you to measure your ingredients are just uptight people. I do not even own measuring spoons and I bake all of the time. My baked goods come out perfectly every time. I am able to estimate dry and wet ingredients with no problems.

Lol. Life happens!
Thank you so much for going healthier and telling us what substitutions you are making. ❤
You're welcome! It's all about finding the right balance.
Ohhhh The Knights are definitely going to try this thigh and sweet potato recipe!!! Yum!
You guys are going to love it! It's so simple and delicious. Especially if you like just a tiny bit if heat
Love a sheet pan dinner! Made a honey curry chicken one last week. You got me thinking of all our favorite ones.❤
I love a good sheet pan dinner too! So simple!
Cilantro is a COOL weather herb, it’s hard to keep it going in hot weather. I harvest mine & wash & chop it then freeze it in serving size containers.
That's a great tip! I'll have to try that.
Amber it's so nice to see you again! I just love your channel! Wishing you & your family a very Happy New Year!🎉🎉❤😊
Thanks so much! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Looks delicious!❤
So glad you think so!
Hey Amber, I love hanging out with you like this!
Yay! I am so glad. I love filming like this.
Good morning Amber. I love making scones too! Can you tell me which bread bags you purchased? I am just starting to make a sourdough starter.
The ones I use are sold out, but I am about to order these which are basically the same but a different print!

What kind of freezer bags do you use for your bread, etc?

I would just substitute fruit for fruit. So with blueberry scones I would probably do lemon instead of orange and blueberry instead of cranberry

Wow, thanks for the tips! I learned a lot.
But was there a difference between adding th glaze before baking or after?
I really didn't notice a difference.
What can you use to make the scones if you don't have sourdough?❤

How much of the cake mix do you use for a cake.
All of it! It equals one box.
Can I get your scone chocolate chips recipe?❤
Coming soon!
@@FeedingtheByrds thank you❤️

Thanks for the tip! I'll keep that in mind for future recipes.

I’m glad you have it figured out! I guess it’s all about knowing your recipe!
The taste of soap is not something that I want. That's what cilantro taste like to me😮
I've heard people say that before!
