those are some crazy looking locos, if I remember correctly SP brought them in as tunnel motors to pull through the mountains correct? Would love to see Athearn release one in HO scale. Great Video!

Thanks:) The Krauss-Maffei's were never tunnel motors, SP brought them as diesel-hydraulic locomotives and they were used from 1964 to 1968.
