6:40 it can be little souery. It's not very common in poland although it is popular in the craft beer scene and browar gordziski made it to our polish seven-eleven shops: żabka. I love to drink it in the summer to some bbq. It reaaaaaaly compliments smoked meat
Thanks for the entertaining history and tasting notes. I've heard about this beer style, but didn't know much about it. I'll have to try brewing some now!
I bought a small bottle of champagne that I was going to pop off but it ended up being a twist off haha that's why I used a Miller high life beer. It doesn't smell great. Thanks for watching!! 🍻
Thanks for making a video about grodziskie. I lived in Warsaw for a bit (2014-2015) and hunted these beers down. I eventually tried two different versions by Browar Pinta. The first time drinking one was a mindfuck. 😅 The beer was highly effervescent, but smelled and tasted like smoked ham. It was lightly tart, not sour, and very light. I moved back to California in 2015 and haven't found a good grodziskie since (New Belgium's Lips of Faith Gratzer was horrible).
Thanks for sharing that! Always happy to hear beer stories haha it’s nice that my city has a few craft breweries that love to find recipes from all over the world and give it a go. Cheers! 🍻

Thank you, Ed! It does have a pretty cool history and a VERY unique flavour. Let me know how the brewing goes!
