The CROW/RAVEN thought you were already done with your 5 x 8 walkaround and was applauding. Assumed it shouldn't take more than 3 seconds, per the video.
Just when I fear the youth of today has lost their way and is over-coddled and soft... a glimmer of hope breaks through the clouds of Hover Mothers and Absent Dads.
Your radiant smile said it all, even before you spoke! Congratulations on having your Thesis recognised and respected for it's quality, and your subsequent award. The Chuck Box is an ideal sanctuary in which to work undisturbed, and your intention to make it multi faceted was inspired genius! Your use of space is exemplary, with superb ergonomics, more than adequate storage, and that beautifully configured, dedicated Electrical Cabinet and Heater Bay! Your meticulously detailed Electrical Cabinet is an absolute gem! Precise cable routing, neat and clean connections, it's simply outstanding! Ditto the folding beds/benches and table, which not only looks wonderful, but works really well too. That bookshelf is going to be great, and I look forward to seeing it. There is so much aesthetically beautiful, supremely practical detail in your Travel Cabin, but the one aspect that I particularly liked was your cable conduit to the rear door from the wall! That was so well done, you'd got the length just right to ensure it'd fold properly and it was just so neatly done! Your Travel Cabin is light, airy and bright and i find it elegantly simple and simply elegant!
Joel, this is the cleanest cargo trailer conversion I’ve ever seen! Truly a remarkable job in the planning and the build… so glad YT suggested this tour!
Congratulations on your Masters degree young man. I love what you did with with your 5 by 8 cargo trailer camper. We own the same size trailer and your design is outstanding!
Congratulations on your thesis. My wife and I are originally from Sudbury area. Your videos are making us homesick. Potentially going back when I retire in a few years... hopefully with a cargo conversion as well. All the best.
Wow, this is an awesome build and gave me some ideas for my 7 x 14 that I'm building now. Fantastic use of the small space! Can't believe you take that whole rig on the ice to fish - that's scary :) Congrats on passing your thesis!
Congratulations on your thesis.....Your Cargo Trailer is VERY NICE.... simple but functional....love how you made it for ice fishing...... what a great idea......
Man i love your trailer, I'm going to be building one just like yours. I wanted to keep the same function as you since i want to transport my motorcycle. Congratulations on passing your thesis cheers.
Thats great setup, im thinking of something similar which is how i found the video, but sofar you are the only one that has kept the trailer usable for cargo. All the othrr videos make them into just a living space. You have given me some great ideas 👍🏼
Awesome Job Joel! I bet that ceiling smells awesome. I hate that we are in lock down can’t wait to get out there and start camping. Look forward to some camping videos with it.
Hey Patrick. Thanks for letting me know! That shouldn't be happening. I'll see if I can get youtube to fix that. Thanks for watching. If you could let me know if the videos on my channel are working? That'd be appreciated!!
thank you for your video that by far is one of the nicest cargo camping trailer I seen . just might make my own thanks again for your hard work and dedication
I love it! Simplicity at its finest. I had watched some of you build video last week, and wondered what the holes in the floor were for.. Duh... Ice Fishing! Awesome job! Thanks for sharing and giving out ideas.
I am planning on some cross country trips and need to be able to store my small yamaha xt225 inside yet use it as a camper at night. THIS IS PERFECT!!! Thank you!!
gratz on passing your thesis and you have shown some very good ideas in fitting out your camper. Yes you definitely need some locking mechanisms on those folding legs and they do look a bit on the flimsy side but I suppose if you are jumping around on the bed it should be ok lol.. I noticed you haven't made any allowance for cooking inside you trailer and there have been some awesome little stoves either wood burning or gas fired for that . If you utilized the butane fired single burner stoves you could maybe have a fold down bench off your bed at the front to allow a place to do some cooking. Here in Australia where I live we don't get conditions anywhere near as cold as what you have but it would still be nice to heat up some food on the small butane stove or even a small microwave if you took frozen meals to defrost and eat. A cold morning in the middle of winter might get to 5 celsius but it warms up quick and our days are between 18 and 22c usually.
After watching so many over-the-top gigantic conversions, it was refreshing to see your practical and comfortable version. Good job and congratulations on your educational milestone!
Nice job. You have an excellent work ethic. I watched the longer video that showed everything you did in time lapse. I would prefer deploying a hammock for a bed that would be out of the way when I'm not sleeping. Thanks for sharing.
Good video Joel, and a belated congratulation on your academic achievement. Also I am embarking on a 6'x10" camper conversion, and will use your wealth of knowledge going forward. Richard, Simcoe County.
Congrats!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for ya. I've been watching your videos and you have helped some random dude from new England, figure out how to make a trailer liveable for adventures. Why should a trailer be better than a simple tent? Because of the care and love and occasional injuries that go into it. (Also the -6 nights haha) Thank you so much for the inspiration and guidance! And congrats on your thesis! You have earned your newly found freedom! Thanks again- AJ from NE
I know the vid wasn’t about the truck but I love the ranger it looks great. Currently in the market for one myself as I’m a young, new driver and they are perfect for my needs.
Congratulations on passing your thesis. I think your work on the build is exquisite. You have given me so many ideas on how to out fit my trailer. Thank you for your time and I appreciate you and your work. Best of luck on your future endeavors.
This a perfect example of how this is 100x than anything you’ll buy. Build your own people because it’s cheaper and it’ll be how YOU like it
Agreed! Thanks for watching
And the Crow was saying great job!
Congratulations on passing your thesis! That’s huge! Really digging your setup as well. Especially the electrical. Very clean.
Thank you very much!
The CROW/RAVEN thought you were already done with your 5 x 8 walkaround and was applauding.
