Cheap `n Easy Spaghetti Bolognese
Today I make Spaghetti Bolognese with a twist and on a budget
Instead of mince meat I use sausage meat
I use Egg Pasta Ribbons and an aubergine and basil sauce
The cost of the completed dish worked out at 57 pence each, and that was three portions

We had meatloaf, baked potatoes, and salad for our evening meal

Last night was chunks of roasted and baked chicken with rice. I already had ground hamburger steaks cooked with chunks of cheese reheated it in the oven and made mini sliders.❤❤❤

Keep an eye on that ‘for value’ pasta & cheese, apparently the EU has given the green light for upto 4% ‘insect flour to be added to such items, so you can virtually guarantee itll make its way over here. Get well soon:)

Bolognese sauce is a classic Italian sauce for pasta made with ground meat such as beef or pork. It's slow cooked with a soffritto of onions, carrots, and celery, tomatoes, and milk to give it a creamy texture. Pronounced "bow-luh-nez," the sauce comes from the Bologna region of Italy, hence the name.
Bolognese can be made from any ground meat, doesnt have to be beef.
