You would never have to buy gas though. How much does it cost for the electricity?
The Tesla Model X costs $15 to charge, about 4.5 cents per mile. Tesla Model 3: $7.65, between 3 and 4 cents per mile.
Tesla Model S, about 3.7 cents per mile, full charge cost $15.29. Tesla Model Y is about $11.47 to charge or 4.7 cents per mile. We could expect the ford Mustang Mach-E to be in this same range.
Why didn't they call it a Thunderbird? Thunder =lighting (electricity) and a name that Ford is not currently using. Certainly would make more sense than Mustang.
