Hi Jungleperry, Not at all, it's I who should thank you for showing your support. I value this information and it's very motivational for me to provide even more information by growing my channel, please continue to join my journey. Thank you so much!
I always learn so much from these videos. My family always grows Chinese cucumbers, and it's nice to know what the leaf blemishes are from and why the cucumbers grow unevenly sometimes.
Hi Jiayi! I'm glad it added value to your gardening journey - sorry I was not able to get into more detail, I'd end up making a full blown movie about cucumbers! Yuzu video you requested will be released soon :D :D :D I hope you're as crazy about Yuzu as I am, because there is a mind numbing amount of videos surrounding Yuzu forthcoming! Thank you again for your continued support!
Great video. Love the focus on responsible farming practices and the in depth conversation about adding various nutrients and why they are important. I have been growing Itachi and Tsuyataro Cucumbers for the last 4 years and they are wonderful.
Hi Christian! Very glad to hear you've enjoyed an in depth video surrounding Japanese cucumber varieties! I too have been growing them for over a decade and have been recollecting the same seeds my father provided me. Thank you for showing your support for my channel!
Hi @hazirahmk ! I'm very glad to hear you've enjoyed the video! I definitely will be publishing more videos about other vegetables, specifically surrounding Japanese cultivars. Thank you so much for your continued support!
Thank you! I am growing Yamamoto Cucumbers this year. I was curious about the curved ones. I will have to prune better. I didn't realize that there were suckers like tomatos. I also interplanted edemame beans to keep the soil nitrogen rich. I have a jungle between the cucumber and indeterminate tomatoes.
Hi Beepbopboop3221, Great choice with the Yamato cucumbers! Far superior than what I shared in my video! Pruning definitely increases yields, but for every vine there are cucumbers growing. This is really dependent on your garden space - If you have the space, let the cucumbers grow in an organized fashion and purge all the root suckers. Without getting into much detail, manage the growth - otherwise you'll encounter powerdery mildew and other diseases if the plant itself isn't disease resistent. LMAO!!! Jungle, you need to see my amazonian rainforest! Thank you so much for your continued support!
yea I have 1 plant in container I can't believe how fact they are growing after a slow start, when exactly should I harvest ? is there a specific length? I'm an amatuer as u can guess
