Best line between them thus far...lol I love Tianqi so much. I'm not a huge fan of Bai Jue's at the moment. He put Houchi/Shanggu through hell in the name of saving her life. He's plan sucked...lol I really love their friendship. Tianqi is such a great friend to Bai Jue/Shanggu. He took care of their son and protected him for so many years. It's unfortunate that Bai Jue chose to protect his son by staying away from him. He missed out on so many first with Yuanqi. If Muguang did his job as the Emperor and exposed his wife things might've been different.
@@shontelagrone8713 The last part about Muguang, I highly doubt that since even if he did his job and exposed his wife the Tribulation of Chaos would still happen and Bai Jue would still be doing his plan The only thing that would change would be Fengran and Jing Jian might be able to be happy together immediately instead of in the future Nothing would change with the relationship between Bai Jue, Yuanqi, and Shanggu His plan is the best that he can do since he doesnt want to watch Shanggu die to the Tribulation The only other option is for them to die all together but than that would defeat the purpose of doing everything he did to bring her back and try to give her a normal life
Bai Jue has some nerve..he put Houchi through hell/repeatedly told her that he wanted a new life. He set back/watched as she was humiliated/lost her spiritual vein/now he has the audacity/gall to think he has a right to name her son. Yes, everything he did was to protect her I get it but at the end of the day his ruthlessness caused more pain/suffering than the tribulation itself. I'm so glad that she had Tianqu by her side.
Agree. Baijue had always been stupid from the start though. Even before Shanggu's sacrifice it had always been his personality to keep secrets and do what he think is best for her without consulting Shanggu. He is the exact opposite of Tianqi who can't keep a secret. LOL Also he hurt her so many times so she won't be hurt once he sacrifice himself is the most stupid thing I heard. She loves him so much so she will be hurt no matter what. In the end after his sacrifice he gave back her memories and she was hurt all over again & can't even let out her frustration on him because he was gone and then she ended up kneeling & praying to the ancestral god for 500 years just to bring him back. She suffered worse in the end so Baijue should have just been honest from the start or at least treat her kindly. She won't forget him anyway & will still try to get him back like she still did even after he hurt her. He could have save themselves all that pain.

He thought loving her meant protecting her whether she agreed or not which is why he kept so many secrets. As Qingmu he was so open with his emotions/he worked with Houchi instead of behind her back. They were a team whereas BaiJue/Shanggu had a very different relationship. Bai Jue thought pushing her away and making her hate him would hurt less but it was the total opposite. His nickname was well deserved because he couldn't think beyond saving Shanggu or how his actions would hurt her rather she hated him or not...he was extremely shortsighted in his actions.
Well he had one goal - Deal with the Tribulation without Shanggu having to die again But I do find it dumb that he did give her back her memories, that is the one thing that doesn't make any sense to his plan since by giving those back to her, he is causing her even more pain He already went through the pain of losing her once to the Tribulation and he pretty much went through hell dealing with it and doing what he can to get her back The plan is not perfect and there was so many things he didn't account for but he went ahead with it as planned He was hoping that he would only give her a short term of pain instead of a life time but of course that didn't happen They might be True Gods but even they have limits to what they are and are not able to do

The memory was an accident that the bracelet cracked & YQ actually play with it notice &actually take it to Mom & she got back the memory the bracelet would crack is accident
