I find it unfair for Shanggu when Bai Jue remove her memory of the tribulation of chaos and as Houchi. She always wonders why they have the guts to ridiculed her. I know it's for the best, but I really find it unfair.
Agree! Bai Jue has Qingmu memories, Shanggu should at least has Houshi memories. She was the happiest during that time with Gu Jun and Qingmu. Bai Jue once again selfishly make decision for Shanggu

i just think that Shanggu choose Wu Huan and Gu Jun because when Wu Huan first show up she was bullied just because she is only a low born Phoenix also the day when she choose Gu Jun he was also bullied for being a demon and weak and he shouldnt be in there.. Shanggu started as a weak too she was also questioned in public but its just sad she choose Wu Huan
Her biggest mistake is chosing Wu Huan. Most of her decisions are always just & correct. It really is just chosing Wu Huan that she miscalculated. She didn't see that she could turn out this way.
Choosing someone from too low class can make 2 variants. She can have motivation to prove herself and to make herself better. But in the other way, it can make her be jealous and want to have more power because she saw the gap between her and other Gods. She wanna be like them, but because she was born in low class, she couldn't become them. That's why she might choose the devil way to do it. It's the greed of heart.

I actually find it refreshing that the main villainess this time isn't after Bai Jue as Shanggu's love rival. I'd rather her an interesting, overpowered villain than another girl pining after the male mc. I've become tired of that kind of character trope tbh

wrong. wu huan was not killed. she wasnt given any great punishment to be honest. all she got was a slap in the face by shangu..after all she did to kill MANY people..she deserved more torture than what was shown in this drama. thats one thing i hate about this drama. THERE WAS NO SATISFACTION OF VIEWERS MIND IN TERMS OF VILLAIN GETTING WHAT THEY DESERVE IN THE END. the entire season was about righteous people suffering alot and being tricked and misunderstood. makes no sense. IF you want to watch a great drama where in the end your heart will not hate main characters choices and feel horrible that vengeance was not achieved, i would recomend ashes of love and eternal love of dream
The actress playing Wu Huan is a better actress for me. The lead female has a very weak face and her expressions and mannerisms as the chief god dont come across as being strong and in charge.
Just say it truthfully tho. You don't like the lead because her appearance and body doesn't suit her role as a goddess. Wu Huan would be the one playing the Lead if she's really that great. The Lead's expression and mannerisms are really incredible because other than her, no one would be better enough to play the role as Shanggu. Since you judged her, does it mean that the director's choice is suck and his eyes needs fixing because he chose the wrong woman for the lead role? Pathethic. A lot of actresses fought for this role and the director chose the lead because he know better that the actress will bring the character to life.
