Yeah and the wire it comes with doesn't fit in ANY of the wall chargers I already own as its not USB compatible.... so I have to buy a new wire for a phone I just unboxed, because I have no way to charge it. This is not pro environment, its pro capitalism
That was a free charging brick and headphones since the previous Galaxy A series since last year. Now another eco system of the new Galaxy A series without earphones and charger brick but data cable only include in the packages. Except with Galaxy A03 has charger brick and data cable included without free earphones.

Stupid of Samsung to follow Apple footstep. I am thinking of upgrading my A52 to A73 but since no headphone jack. I just stick to it and shift to other brand that has it for my next phone.

yes you can upgrade if you want Good Camera & snapdragon processor in budget then Samsung A73 is nice choice but if you want charger and headphone jack then i would say Galaxy A52s 5G is still a good option

But in my opinion, I would probably go for the A53 because of the larger battery as I'm a heavy user and I don't use headphone jack anymore as I already got a buds+. Maybe if you want a headphone jack and you're just a moderate to light user, A52s is already more than enough. We would need to wait and see how the Exynos 1280/1200 performs. I'm not sure if those two chipsets are the same because from what I read on GSMArena, it's using Exynos 1200
I would personally choose the a52 over the a53. Better processor, headphone jack, charger in the box... The only thing you're really sacrificing is updates down the road but these aren't the kind of phones you're going to hang on to for 5 years probably.
it depends on your requirements like if you want decent camera and improved processor and 2 year of software update then Realme is good but if you want good camera with OIS and decent processor and 4 year of software update then Samsung A53 is good option to bcz it will last longer
