- Don’t forget to sew in the clips with thread I choose the colour of the hair to match so you don’t see the thread. I bought this cheap synthetic wig from Amazon it’s the hair cube collection.cheap price.

Thank you, this is a great idea especially because some toppers don't have enough coverage especially in the back. I did try this once. I just want to caution people that when you cut the wefts you lose A LOT of length so you need to be mindful of that. I like about 14 inches of hair so I would need to get very long wigs to do this too. There needs to be a good amount of hair on the cap that's left too so it's not too thin.

Wow, you came around just in time for me lol. I just bought 2 of the cheaper wigs and the hair is too thick and looks fake because of that. They really need for the hair to be thinner and I would have much rather had toppers. Now I can make my own toppers out of them both thanks to your instructions. Thank you so very much.

The only problem with this wig now the bangs suck really bad not thick as they use to be in the older ones just a heads up

I just got a hair topper, it's 16" but I should have gotten an 18" hair topper. My long bio hair sticks out of the bottom and doesn't look natural. Is there anyway I can thin the bottom of the hair topper or cut layers into it to make it blend with my hair?
No you have to cut your hair to the length of the topper

Thanks for this! I do prefer the smaller clips as they stay in my hair better (they’re not as comfortable as the larger ones but love the security), so thought I’d give an alternate opinion.

Hi Crystal, you are very good at doing this. Can I ask you a question? Can you make a topper out of a full lace wig? If you can, what part to you cut it down to? Also, instead of the clips, can you attach one of those wig grippers, or topper head band those grippers really pull out my poor little hairs. I don't want that. Thank you..

Crystal- thank you for making this video. You said that you cut the length of the HairCube wig. I have understood that due to the quality of the Haircube it feels prickly when you cut it. Do you know if this is true. They have a lot of long wigs to select from but very few short ones ... so i want to cut one down. I would greatly appreciate your advise. thx
