Met a few people who did this pretty accurate with warmonger impale. Always a surpise when they parry someone else and then run you over the ledge.

That's gnarly. I've got about 90 reps total with WL and I can usually target swap his attacks pretty well. I agree with Freeze that it doesn't feel consistent but after getting the feel for the characters it seems a bit easier to do.

I actually came up with an exclusive Nuxia reposte tech myself. After an external parry, delay the reposte input to the last possible frame and it'll actually target the opponent you've been facing.

I did this quite often with warmonger impale simply because I'd target swap to get the external parry, then find myself impaling that random guy I targeted, or teleport with JJ like that

This isnt a new tech but one of the least intentionally used ones, I find myself getting it on accident to varying benefit while trying to swap to external guard to parry 400ms lighta, the reposte sometimes targets the person im locked onto, not the berserker I just parried.

Idk if it's easier with Jorm's parry bash but I was ganking one recently that swapped the bash to me 2 or 3 times in a row. Felt silly for falling for it so many times 😅

His punish animation starts a frame later than most so he can swap during it more consistently if you ever think he’s going for it backdodge

Should make a video about glad able to deflect hyper armor if delayed, as long there isn’t a followup hyper armored heavy
Ex: glad can deflect zerk zone and not be interrupted by the followup light

That has nothing to do with this, all GB coded moves or throw moves have a small frame of hyper armor...
This is why you have situations where the opponent GB's you and they eat 2 attacks from a team mate and dont get staggered.... Glad skewer is coded the same as a GB throw, thats why it unbalances OOS where pirate pin doesnt... So when you deflect an attack, when you input the punish, theres a small frame of time where you have hyper armor the same as someone who just got into the GB animation does... So if you time a skewer to activate the armor as the attack hits you, you can trade... However its not a great trade cause a 25+ damage heavy for a max 34 damage on skewer thats mostly bleed isnt a great trade... Best never to deflect attacks that can be followed with hyper armor as glad... As its better to deal 24 damage and take none than it is to deal 34 and take 25 or more
