- Melissa Gorga stopped by Edge at Hudson Yards in NYC to talk “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 14 with “Extra’s” Billy Bush. She spoke about her and husband Joe Gorga’s rift with his sister Teresa Giudice, insisting that the relationship is “done” after things happened that are “hard to come back from.” Melissa also called out Teresa’s “sick” comments about her and Joe’s late parents, after she said she felt like they give her signs she’s on the right track. Plus, Joe jumped into the interview to dish on how he and Melissa are keeping things hot after 20 years of marriage!
I have to say This was the most Real I have seen Melissa and she is right about the comments about the dead parents. Teresa is sick for saying stuff like that.
I Watched the show since day one TERESA IS TOXIC and burned every bridge with family and friends through the years very jealous and evil person deep inside starving for fame

I agree. I like that Joe and Melissa raised their children to always be respectful and keep them out of any friction they have with Teresa where Teresa did the opposite and her children have to stick up for her and if it even means lying they are to do so and be against Joe and Melissa. Its really cruel to do to children.
Italian families are tough! T not only sees’ herself as the ‘head’ of that family, she ‘demands’ it! You either do what T says or your life is hell! Simple as that!!!!

Billy is too much lol. Yeah, it's sad that the brother and sister do not speak, it's terrible when family goes through this, but realisticly, there are just some people you have to distance yourself from in order to preserve your peace of mind. Unfortunately, at times that applies to family.
Some people are impossible and I have a Teresa in my family not a sibling, but family, and a decision had to be made that we can no longer associate because of the toxic damage she brings to the table every single time. Joe loves his sister, I know he would be there for her and the kids in a heartbeat if she needed him, he always has. Joe and Melissa had to distance and that is ok, it doesn't matter who agrees or who doesn't, it's their life, their peace of mind. When that is priority, you don't let others opinions bother you.

I mean why do you think they started talking about religion and forgiveness etc...showing you Melissa is keeping that going; Joe said he'll follow the right path not to do wrong and he just wants to live and enjoy life and people regardless of what you have but Melissa is into 'that fame' trip....So if I had to guess, I'd say they'll give Joe another wife, Melissa will move on to either bigger or better things or a huge scandal which will end the marriage because Melissa wants that fame.

If anyone understands Italian - there was a scene where Teresa's father told Melissa that everytime he would go to her house to visit she would not open the door and he knew she was home. You could tell the Gorga parents did not like Melissa and they saw right through Melissa. They were wise and had a lot of wisdom - they would not feel this way if it wasn't true.

I'm re-watching the franchise for like the 4th time. I'm currently on season 5. Melissa IS a brat and Teresa just never liked her. Teresa and Joey BOTH are the same people though. Teresa didn't like how Joey no longer "needed her" when she got married and she had a very hard time letting that go. She had a very hard time when Joey removed Teresa from the pedestal and put Melissa there--which is what you should do when you get married. Melissa wasn't "traditionally Italian" which is why Tre and THE PARENTS had a hard time accepting her. Joey didn't like how when Louie came along, Teresa no longer "needed" him. Joey also should have showed his nieces respect and not talked about their father----even though what Joe Guidice did was wrong---on tv/in the press like they asked him not to. Teresa and Joey both expect loyalty from each other, even if it means going against their spouses. "Stick with blood". No, that goes out the window when you get married. If they BOTH would stop talking about each other in interviews (I've seen just as many of Teresa talking about them as I have of them talking about Tre), then maybe they can eventually heal to the point of the kids wanting to have relationships with each other. It's so crazy to me how people can either be die hard Melissa or die hard Tre fans. They are all just as toxic as the other. Even though it's "reality tv", they are prompted to talk about each other and continue the drama for ratings sakes.
Unfortunately this happens a lot, especially when it’s the older sister and younger brother, like the older sister feels like she’s being replaced and is no longer needed by the younger brother, I’m telling this happens a lot, i’ve known many friends with this same situation! And the in laws think they can do a pop in when ever they like! Um no call first!
