I'm almost always able to hit it. But my voice often cracks a little or it gets really quiet compared to the rest. Wouldn't be able to go higher than that tho. Def couldn't reach chase.

@@qhiro He's a trained singer, and is easy if you have the correct technique.
U can sometimes hit higher notes easier with a cold. Mariah Carey for example when recording Emotions had a cold.
He just stand up when singingm and give us better content that way, stupid sitting down for this.
I now cannot *not* imagine Chase replacing the “Dream on” lyric in the octivated part with “Elmo”.

Each time the high note comes up, my mind tells me "No way he does it, that's physically impossible for a human being to hit that" then the note comes in and I found myself just staring while saying out loud ".....whut" after every single high note you hit.
I will be honest, this challenge gave me the idea to try it with one of my favourite songs that goes high, On My Own from the Teen Beach Movie 2 soundtrack and to my surprise, I was about to get about 6 up, so thank you for helping me discover some of my own range I didn't even know I had
If you remember when he did "Take on Me" ... He went so high he sounded like a tea kettle going off. Dude can go high lol
Steve Tyler is my benchmark for singers. Of everyone I've ever heard. You NAILED it. My hats off to you. Well done. I'm in awe right now, and extremely happy, there really is brilliant singers out there without the voice boosts and every little piece of trickery used today in today's vocalists. As a bass myself, I would so love to hear Chase go for a Low Note Challenge! Some of the notes he hit in "Take On Me" at the start of the chorus were pretty low, and they sounded GOOD! ^_^
I agree (at least once, maybe more!). He most likely would definitely not reach the Geoff Castellucci/Avi Kaplan/Tim Faust range, though.

Voice is a muscle my man... and hitting high notes is precision and strength to pull the vocal chords tight.
It’s a vocal technique called “Falsetto”
There’s stuff even higher that Mariah Carey can do called “Whistle notes”

I mean, I'm a guy and I sing for fun, not professionally, but I can hit all these notes too. I think it's part genetics and part training of which Chase obviously has both :p
@@JolanRensen your right and that’s really what it comes down too if your born with it or you just work on it to get up there everyday I can hit like a B1 to like B5 that’s normal but it sounds a little weird when I go higher

This is such a great song and I'm happy that you've chosen it for your high note challenge. It was funny that you said you heard Elmo in your first attempt since I was heading Elsa! Lol it may be the difference in how you hear your own voice in your head versus how it came across to me. As a singer I know that there's often a difference in what you hear vs how you sound due to cranial resonance, etc.

you can if you have garage band what you do is get your phone or whatever your recording on and go on voice record then record at least 30 seconds of your song then go into my songs and long-press then press share and it will give you a ringtone option. not sure if that makes sense but that's my best explanation of what to do
