- We had been talking about and looking forward to kayaking on Lake Louise for quite some time. We were excited to take the Intex inflatable kayaks out for a paddle on this beautiful lake. The weather was not all that we had hoped for, but the experience was a great one.
While you can always rent a canoe and get out on the water, it's always nice to be able to take your own boats out free of charge.
If you've watched many of our videos, you've seen that we have gotten a great return on the investment that we made in these kayaks. Not the ROI that most financial gurus would be looking for, but the experiences that these kayaks have afforded us has been something truly special.

You will love it. We went there a few times during our stay. We didn't have any trouble finding a spot to park. We were there in June. Be sure to find one of the little stands and get the permit. Nobody checked ours, but it was a simple process. You might look at the regulations, they have some stipulations on where you last had your kayak and how recent it was there. We put in close to where they rent canoes. That seemed to be easier and a little less crowded than the area to the right. Have fun!!!
