I make baits myself. If you use plexiglass instead of aluminum it will give you a deeper rattle. I use bb’s and a plastic ball. It works great when the fish are a little finicky. And fyi I am not trying to tell you how to make baits. Just giving you a different option. It is just something I tried and it worked.

Cody, enjoyed the lure build, however, I skipped the extended fishing trip. It's good to see a lure work, but it was too long for me.
