  • Have you been training for climbing for months or even years and not get any stronger? In this video, I go through some common pitfalls I've seen people run into that inhibit their ability to get better at rock climbing and bouldering.
The climb featured in the video is called Fort Rosstafarian (Rossta) and goes V6/V7. I felt upper end V7 to be so that's what I called it in the video. An amazing climb right on the pacific ocean in Northern California.

Is that your van that you are in? Would be awesome to see a little tour/tips for people building their own vans :)
And as always, great video! really needed to watch such a video these days. I was overtraining quite a bit lately, without really seeing any noticeable gains.. and then, bang! finger injury...

Yes that is my van. Not sure if I want to go down that road on the channel haha. Maybe, we'll see. Are you building one for yourself?
Sorry to hear you got a finger injury. Best of luck with a speedy recovery. Rest is a very important part of climbing that gets easily overlooked!

@@BomberBeta I'm pondering about building one, yes! But I might just go for a very basic build with just a bed + table + storage.
Thanks! I was feeling so strong lately, but that should have been the sign to take a rest week or tamper my volume for a while. I think I had been training consistently since February 4-5/week.. too much for my little fingers!

I'm at %100 for leg and campus but %15 for finger strength, what should I do?

      *of V5 climbers

So sounds like you have good power, and a strong/flexible lower body. You should focus on doing crimpy, finger intensive climbs during your sessions. If you typically climb V5 probably pick V3 climbs that are more vertical with smaller holds. You can also start a hangboarding routine. I've made a few videos on the subject. Join the Discord server if you want to go into more detail.
