Should we throw in the towel? Broken down 18 hours before we leave for our trip

It seems like we always have something that needs to be fixed right before a trip. Today it was a power steering pulley and we had to get a tow. Thanks for the recovery Huss Towing in Toledo Ohio. All fixed and we're heading to Kentuckys DBBB loops this week.

Is a plastic pulley a normal thing on Jeeps? I drive a Land Rover and don’t think I have any plastic pulley’s. We are driving a Jeep for the Rebelle Rally so I gotta learn these things. 😬
