i think my way is a very relaxing way to hike the whw but I was always getting to camp too early for my liking and I wished I had walked further in each day.

I have just been following your WHW from day 1, couldnt agree more on your observation on people camping and creating fire pits around victoria bridge or any other spot. Slowly they will expand on camping bans and who can blame them?
Perhaps "Leave no Trace" is not in plain english enough!. Looking forward to the rest of your trip.

Yes I saw a lot of fire pits and rubbish on the WHW. I want to walk the WHW again sometime and I bet the "no camping zone" will be extended or wild camping will be band altogether.

    What tent are you using

This tent is the Force Ten Helium Carbon 200. After this hike I updated my tent to the Zpacks Duplex mentioned in this video ua-cam.com/video/iXTgnrVKKyk/v-deo.html
Check out more of my videos for more information.

Open fires are OK but the problem is people leave the fire pits when they should return the stones to where they got them. In Glen Etive there are hundreds of firepits plus loads of rubbish. It's an outrage.
