One of the video links on the side is a triangle color mixing video from you, which makes me really want to see a fluorescent color triangle with these colors. That would give an even better example of how quickly the glow from the blue is dimmed by adding other colors! There are so many ways to play with these new colors, I can't wait to see what you come up with!
I plan to do some calculated color mixing at some point for sure! I have a very qualatative video that I'm working on now with dip dyeing so we can see roughly how much reduction (or not) of fluorescence when we add other colors.
I absolutely love that instead of getting angry at your mistakes you laugh at them! Mistakes happen, and when someone experienced in something makes a mistake and doesn't freak out it shows that mistakes happen, and it's ok. ❤❤❤
Love the new colors!! I'm not a pink/purple person, but I'm liking the violet & red. Crocodile is definitely my usual vibe. A florescent speckle would be awesome! PS: you put "fall 2023", which made me smile, it's already in the upper 90°'s & rising where I am & I'm ready for fall!! 🤣😂🤣😂 It gets 110°+ in the summer, after the horrendously wet winter, I'm worried. 😉
I'm not sure if you're still monitoring these comments since it's been a few weeks, but I wanted to let you know the date stamp at 1:40 is for fall of this year, which is the future.
There are so many magenta/fuschia colors, and turquoise/cyan colors out there already. I would love to see a video(s) on how they differ- hues are so similar, but do they strike/set differently? What gaps in a dye library do they fill? Which seem totally redundant?
I hope to do a neon comparison video for Jacquard and Dharma sometime soon. I have swatched crocodile green next to all of the other green acid dyes I have and it is a unique color there. I think fluroescent red is also pretty unique across other brands. The Magenta is likely similar to other brands, but is unique in Jacquard's library. So some colors it is hard because they want to have something unique, but also fill in gaps in their own lines. And of course black light blue is in a world of its own!
@@ChemKnitsTutorials yeah, but I was thinking of across brands- all tge magenta/hit fuschia/ polar red colors, and the teal/turquoise/ sea breeze/ etc etc etc. At-home dyers could benefit from knowing just how similar sone are, or, whether sone strike and set much better than others. It’s just an idea- and selfish! But you could perhaps save others from buying dyes that are essentially identical….
Wow, these colors are gorgeous!! I love the green , aqua, violet, & magenta! But, hmmm, I wonder how fluorescent the black light blue would be when mixed with other colors.
The red is SUCH a pretty color. I think I might use it at a little over a 1% DOS so it can feel as bright (and more red) than hot fuchsia. Whenever I use it as the straight dye powder it makes me super happy.
I had a few times when I was confused... and then this one really got me wondering. I find that it is an issue if I soak the yarn for a couple of days vs just overnight. but still!
@@ChemKnitsTutorials that's interesting! Mine bled during the soak or during the dyeing process... I just started washing them after each use to avoid cross contamination and that sorted things out! (My reusable ties are also black, which doesn't help in spotting lingering colours! Ah well)

Sometimes I freak out and get sad/mad about mistakes. But this was was just hilarious.
@@ChemKnitsTutorials We all do. But cheers for the good laugh we all had!
I could have so much fun with these colours! As my son says; my brain is ping ponging with so many colourways.
They're sooo pretty and really fit in well with what Jacquard had before
Please do a comparison with these fluorescents and the Darmah ones.
Yes! This is 100% on my list

OMG I wrote fall 2023 instead of 2022? LOL!!! Hopefully people understand
@@ChemKnitsTutorials 😂😂🤣😂
For me it's wishful thinking, it's my favorite season!! I think I'm the only one that noticed!!
I actually bought Jacquard dye because of your reviews 😊
Thank you so much! I'm so happy they wanted to work with me.
8:33 Love the belly laugh!
I thought it was SO HILARIOUS when I realized this.
@@ChemKnitsTutorials Just noticed that my droplet is now Rainbow!
My 3 favorites Crocodile, safety orange and aqua tropic
Crocodile is so wonderful and unique.

Haha yeah, I think I was super tired when I put that in. It was supposed to be for 2022.

I have a video that I'm working on editing now that talks about just that!
Ahh, guess I should have watched a little longer! 😊
Love your videos Rebecca❣️
I've been watching these like a hawk. I'm unsure about the red.

About the zip ties: I wash mine after use all the time because they do bleed a bit. I’m surprised you never had this issue until now 😮
