Dude... I didn't think I would enjoy drawing so much. Since you got me to start drawing a few weeks ago, every day I'm like..."I'll just practice drawing a hand or a head shape with some hair real quick".. and before I know it I have drawn a whole character.

Belly buttons are hard to do from memory. Females have belly buttons below the hip and guys have Belly buttons above the hip
but that's all I can remember. In anime this small but important topic is never covered.

The male shoulders are a full head on each side and a female is only half a head on each side.
It was only when we painted live nude women I saw what he was talking about.
I questioned it because of a famous personality on UA-cam. She had big shoulders, a full head on each side.
One of the girls in my class corrected me and explained the girl I saw on UA-cam was a dude!
Apparently lots of famous people are trainsgenda. It's freaky.

However, there are women who may have shoulders only slightly less wide than a man's, if not just as wide, I myself being one such girl.

@@Import_success I spent not too much but not too little time trying to look at real humans. When you want to draw cartoons real life imagery doesn't help a bit. Mikey here explains how body parts work and connect to each other really well, as well as not overdosing on information. So far I believe Mikey has the best content if you want to study how to draw cartoons. Unlike Jazza who didn't really explain anything and Marc Brunet who has too many details Mikey is a better option

Why wouldn't you draw along with him?
One of Mikey's key attractions is the fact he allows the viewer to draw along from start-to-finish in his tutorials, which provides invaluable experience and information to the viewer.
Simply dumping a formula or explanation on a viewer in a short format and then just leaving them there has less educational value. People learn best when not only told and shown how to do something, but also being given a chance to do it themselves; to see how something is created from start to finish, including even the 'boring details'.

I draw Male characters so easily but with little detail because I like drawing them in a cartoonish style vs how I draw my female characters it's so much fun to have a very detailed female next to a cartoon guy, I'm pretty much just trying to draw females like this because I get a better Idea on how I want to draw them in the same cartoony style as my male characters
