Other planes entering the A380s wake: flip over and try to not die A380 enters other plane's wake: huh jeez... Another unstable final... Gotta go around, dammit...
The a380 wake turbulence incident wasn’t caused by a departing aircraft, but from the previous arrival. Wake turbulence from a departing aircraft would have been at the other end of the runway. Wing tip vortices start at takeoff and end the moment the aircraft touches down.
Looks like there was a B757 ahead of the A380 coming in for the landing. I have heard that the wake turbulence from that mid-sized rocket is monstrous.
I don't think the A380 would hit a departing aircrafts wake over the arrival end of the runway. It may be jet blast or some other cause but wake is only caused by an aircraft that's wings are producing lift. Maybe they were to close to an arriving aircraft before them.
Nahhhh that last one was crazy. I literally did the same thing with a 777 BA aircraft 2 weeks or so ago on a simulator because I was testing the engine failure option in take off😅
The tips of the wings on an aircraft (and blades from a helicopter) cause swirling vortices of wind (look for it in videos of planes landing or taking off in foggy or wet conditions. The larger the aircraft, the bigger the disruption to the air and the longer it can linger. It was probably another A380 or at least large Boeing or Airbus airliner that just landed in front of them and they got caught in it at the wrong time and decided to go around.
you see the boeing planes are dangerous, flaps didnt open, engine throwing flames, windows are going out in mid air, crashes etc. Buying tickets only with airbus.
The take off didn't go wrong, It was very successful. They maintained directional control, and landed safely. As for the 737, it was just a simple reduced flap or flapless landing.
I love the A380 wings, they are basically just huge mechanical feathers.
It's incredible to watch, it looks like a bunch fingers caressing the air.
I SWEAR I SAID THE SAME THING WATCHING THAT CLIP! i was doing the thing with my fingers what the wing was xd
So thin, made of aluminium, filled with tons of fuel and not even bending an inch 🤡

I'm very impressed by the smooth landing without even using flaps (which a normal pilot is not used to practicing).

damn, that Qantas B737 landed like a fighter jet.... and the pilot did hold the nose up for quite sometime for aerodynamic braking too...
Never seen a fighter jet land so slowly
Yes that's 100% correct
The PC12 skillful pilot made a perfect landing.
1:28: and had to land with more speed than usual
that was probably the smoothest landing that runway saw that day.

No worries, the 757 could take off on half of one engine.

@@TheUtuber999It's a joke about how the 757 has overpowered engines for a plane it's size.
all twin engine jets are required to be able to do that if i recall correctly, though a 757 could probably do it vertically

I wish you had held on that shot of the plane landing fast without flaps as it appeared to be near the end of the runway!
It just looks that way, the runway curves downward out of the cameras view and is 3.4km long which is plenty for this 737.
