  • Hello Everyone! I hope you are doing Well! In this Video, we will make a Clap On/Clap Off Circuit. The Basic Layout is 2 Transistors Amplifying the signal of the Mic and then the signal getting fed to a Latch Switch Circuit. When it detects the Voltage/Current, the LED turns on. A Condenser Mic Changes it's Capacitance when sound reaches the Mic. The Part where the Transistors are is where that circuit amplifies the capacitance. To Create this Circuit, I took a Mic Amplifier Circuit and a Latch Switch Circuit. I knew that to combine these 2 into this circuit, I would need to use a 100nf Capacitor. Furthermore, I also knew that when a voltage is applied at Pin 6, Pin 3 Gives a High Output, and when the voltage is again applied the Output is low. I took these Princliples and Created this Circuit.
    When it senses it again, it turns off. At 1:45, you may have gotten confused. What I meant was, once you place the 3.3k ohm Resistor after placing the Load Resistor (470 ohms) and Emitter to GND-, you can test the Circuit by placing an LEDs Negative on the Collector and its positive to the Positive Rail. If you Tap or blow air on the Mic, the LED should turn on for a moment. If the LED stays on does doesn't Flicker when you tap or blow air, increase the Resistance. There is no boundaries for this, so you can use as much Resistance as you want (I'm talking about the Load Resistor). Scroll Down for More Details.     -3.3k, Load Resistor to Collector of Q1(See Video), 10k, 10k, 270, 100k and 1k ohm Resistors
