- Not a single day has gone by when she is not remembered. No moment, nor occasion is complete without her. Sharing with all of you some unheard & unknown parts of our mother on her 20th death anniversary.
An emotional and lovely interview where I sit with my dearest sisters, Mina and Nazia to discuss what she was for us and what she was for the world. We commend her wit, her wisdom, her vision & her way of being.

I was a Madam's nurse in her last months and witnessed her humility, love and faith.. she even sang songs for us when she herself was not well.. a huge celebrity who believed in the greatness of Allah ... it was an absolute pleasure to work and be a nurse when she was in AKUH..

When I was little my Mom use to talk about Madam Noor Jehan that how famous she was for her singing. But I never new who she was until one day I found her song in this UA-cam channel. I was amazed by her singing. I thank UA-cam for bringing her back and many more talent in front of us. I also thank her three beautiful daughters who spoke so highly about their mother, which gives an opportunity to know Madam Noor Jehan's wonderful personality to a great extent.
Noor Jehan was one of the greatest artists of last century. Fabulous tribute by her 3 daughters - I am big fan but must say how well she had brought up her three daughters. God bless her soul and her family

I am at a loss of words after listening to this. Especially the last 15 minutes where Marhuma madame Noorjehan's love for Almighty Allah, Prophet Mohammed and his progeny is mentioned. She was truly blessed with a voice unmatched. An amazing singer and even more amazing human being❤

Couple of years back, there was some painting job going on at home. One of the painters, a young man in his 20's was telling me about a bad experience at a job site like "pani bhi paroos say aata tha", I was like Karachi mei pani kis paroosi nay diay??? He said "sir, woh Madam Noor Jehan ka ghar hei, sub ko kuch na kuch milta hei". I assume it was one of her family member's home who is continuing Madam's legacy. Also, being a huge fan myself, I was floored the way the young painter had mentioned so respectfully " Madam Noor Jehan ka ghar"!!! Truly a blessed soul our Madam.

We all must bear this burden of loss. I would sing all the songs I could to my mother . Even though English is my first language. To hear that watching a video or even hearing a song hurts. To the world she was Madam but to her family she was Ummi. May Allah grant you sabr. Please pray for me and family. My mother was my life heart and soul.
By far one of the best tribute given to Madam Noor Jehan. She was truly an icon and a graceful human being. Not only her looks, personality and life but her memories are also beautiful. My beloved Nanaji was a huge fan of Madam Noor Jehan and was lucky enough to be in the audience when she she came to India in 1982. He used to say the highlight of his life was hearing her voice in person. We played Awaaz De Kahan Hai at my Nana's funeral - it was his last request. Madam Noor Jehan was beloved by everyone and her music transcended all borders. Clearly she was also an excellent mother to have raised such elegant and eloquent daughters.
Waah waah what a wonderful and heartfelt remembrance for a great human Noorjehan legendary singer and she brought such great music and her lilting voice to our world ! Her daughters so beautiful and so like her who have spoken so well for their mother so befitting then as well as their mother . Noorjehan we miss you and your music !

Very nice to see the daughters of the legend. I have never been to Pakistan but Madam Noorjehan kept your country alive for me. Oneday, my family was listening to some of her songs and my daughter started imitating her. She was so good that I encouraged her to try some makeup and hairdo like Madam. She still does it and so far she has come the closest to your dear mother's look than anyone else. May Allah grant your late mother jannah. Bless you ladies also InshaaAllah.
Me and my mother are watching this interview together. I must say all three of Madam Noor Jahan's daughters are so graceful and well educated. Never seen anyone like them before. kiya tehzeeb, kiya tareeqa aur bat kehny ka saleeqa hay. esi aulad jisy dekh k log rashk karen waqai apny parents k kiye sadqa e jaariya hoti hay. I was very young when Madam noor jahan passed away. still remember the News on PTV. My brother joined Army because of her songs like' ae puttar hattan te nahi vikday'. It is still our favourite national song. May Allah bless Madam Noor Jahan with highest rank in the heaven. May her children flourish like no other. Amen

I can feel this pain of losing mother.. I've experienced after watching this interview k ap bhalay nani dadi ban jao lekin phr b apko apni maa ki zarurat hmesha rehti h or jab ap unko kho detay hen to hmesha har situation me unki kami feel hoti h.. I've also lost my mother, I'm still a bachelor, bht bht zada feel hota h k Maa k bgher kese guzray gi ye zindagi, shadi hona olad hona in precious tyms pe specially I'm gonna miss her badly badly 😭😭😭 even still I'm crying while watching this 💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭

Years of years have passed but her mesmerizing voice is in our ears. She was kindest person in this world. She used to sing her each song in a soothing way and the best thing about her is she was able to do multiple tasks at single take effortless. I loved it. Noorjahan was Pakistan. My God this was a great interview bringing her back to life. As a junior doc I saw her in her last days in AKU and even as she was dying her presence used to mesmerise us.

I am from Dhaka Bangladesh.Nice to see 3 sis in sarees like mother .Most of the Bangladeshis has issues with Pakistan bcz of 71.But we did not stoped admiring Madam .Some of us grown up listening her melodious voice in childhood n till we separated.Difficult to forget her .Songs of jugnu is memorable.

There does not go a single day by when we don't have a noor jehaan song played in our house. From Watan kay sajeelay to Mehki fizain to Wanjli waleriya. May Allah bless her soul and give her a house in Jannat ul Firdous.

I was born in the UK in the late 80s and grew up listening to Madam's Punjabi songs. I have followed her career ever since and she's a very important part of my chilhood memories and cultural identity.
Always making dua for her she was another class all together.
I actually had a dream about Madam just once - before Huma G passed away, I saw Noor Jehan Ji open a white door and welcome her daughter....the next day I found out that Huma G is no longer with us. May Allah grant them high ranks in Jannat ul Firdous Ameen
I truly believe that Madam was someone very spiritual but not many people realise this. A fantastic human being and loved by all.

OMG ....I got goose bumps .my eyes are teary at this moment of night .I am extremely fond of Urdu Literature and a big fan of FAIZ sahab and His poem Mujh se pehli so mohabbat merry mehboob na maang" and I always get dooms into the imagination that what a soul would he be that HE wrote it in prison ....literally it makes my heart my soul shiver and got goose bumps. but I think we should more retrieve on the legendary work of Madam Noor Jehan . I am 24 now but I still remember the day when madam passed away my grandmother ,my mother , father and the whole family was badly tear apart in her loss though I wasn't soooo much into conciousness .My mother for the assembly presentations used to memorise me her naghma "Ae watan k sajeeley Jawano" and sings madly her taraney with being fully mehw into that rythm .

@hina durrani I distinctly remember i was 13 years old boy and was on my way to school for 27 iftari in them times when heard the news on PTV about Madam Noor Jahan. I cried extremely bad and asked my mother to take me to her funeral as we were in lahore. Everyone in school made my fun as i was a die hard fan of Madam but no one cared about it and spent rhe whole night crying
I never saw her live in my life yet her songs are still alive in me. Whenever I am sad or happy i listen to one of her song Me hon shaam ka raag. Hina aapi after two decades thank you very much for sharing this. Every anniversary on 23 December i ask my mum ami koi news dikhai ha tv p madam ki as not being at home due to work. Once again thank you so much. Respect and regards from united Kingdom.

I remember being 5 or 6 years old and it was Ramzan during the iftar time our family came to know about her death and everyone became so emotional at that iftar. But everyone was so glad that she passed on 27th Roza which only happens with the lucky ones only. Please make more videos on her. We all loved it

Yeah she was a beautiful woman and very stylish. Hina g resembles her a lot. I love all her songs. No one can sing like her. She was the queen of music.
