    I can comment on ear seeds I was a heavy smoker was in the navy 22 years old smoking still but the motion of the sea was not pleasant. I was sick all the time then one day I say a ad in San Diego paper about these and went made appointment it was 90 dollars 2 sessions the applier just told me just keep smoking and by the end of second session cigarette smoking tasted nasty oh man it was terrible . all this is true it worked and I am glad can't be around smokers . and that was 1978 its 2022 as I write this testimonial i am 68 and never picked up a cigarette again. I thought about just starting a business just for smokers I really think even if you are long time smoker it will work heck what can you lose but your life!! I know they do many cures but just smokers could be great.

    It would've been nice to acknowledge the Eastern Cultures from which this modality originated. Using Asian culture's thousands year old methods of understanding the meridian channels throughout the body and where the points are in the ears, hands, feet and head.

    I'm going to use ear seeds to attempt to alleviate insomnia. I have a few questions for you in case you were given directions: Do I apply to both ears? Do I massage the seeds before bed and, if so, for how long? And, after how many days/weeks might I start seeing results? Thank you!

    • @AuricularMedicine
      @AuricularMedicine 3 роки тому

      Your insomnia may have various causes and simply treating a single point may not address anatomical, functional or focus issues involved. It is helpful to find out which points, on which ear, are most active and begin by stimulating those. For patients seeing a licensed therapist (psychologist) or practitioner (acupuncturist, manual therapist, etc.) certified in Auricular Medicine, results may be expected in 1-5 sessions.

    • @tonypajamas8098
      @tonypajamas8098 2 роки тому +4

      you should look into humming to stimulate the vagus nerve. The vibration in the throat from humming stimulates the nerve and makes you relax. Ive been doing it lately, it works well.

    The points shown were from so far could hardly see exact points 😞

    • @AuricularMedicine
      @AuricularMedicine 3 роки тому +1

      We would agree, and there is far more detail and precision to these points (you may even find that locations differ from standard maps used in Auricular Medicine) More importantly, it is helpful to understand that points can be inactive and active. If they are inactive, they do not require (or necessarily benefit from) treatment. Active points reflect issues requiring attention. We advise practitioners to learn how to correctly identify active points. To learn more about point locations, we recommend the work of Dr. Beate Strittmatter, MD.
