Looks good and he’s got lots of enthusiasm. But as a engineer, I was lost at the sideways driveshafts.
Spent some time in that booth. Pretty dang cool.
Definitely some cool stuff. Really liked the bandit as well. But then saw the chunk of metal hanging off the side of drivahft of the burnout car. And was like lol. Bet that's got some good vibration at speed. SMH. None the lass I guess you gotta ha e a few screws loose to have the imagination to build some of those things.

Direct-drive, 2-speed transmission is an oxymoron. Direct drive means you don't have a transmission!
"A direct-drive mechanism is a mechanism design where the force or torque from a prime mover is transmitted directly to the effector device (such as the drive wheels of a vehicle) without involving any intermediate couplings such as a gear train or a belt."
His words were "direct drive to a 2 speed" indicating no pinion and spur. His words are 100% correct. Just have to listen.
@@joshfowler197 Direct drive means direct drive, as in no gear box or gear reduction. A boat is direct drive, a vehicle with the wheel bolted to the motor output shaft is direct drive. Any type or configuration of gear reduction or gear box means it is not direct drive.

Joe, my man, I’ve been following you for long enough to know you are the real deal. In this case, however, I think maybe you’ve jumped the gun a bit in this promotion. Not all that glitters is gold. There is a serious lack of “proofs” on this guy’s channel of performance and functionality claims made, particularly regarding the bandit and basher builds, and the production quality is rather dismal. Just wanted to pass this along in case maybe you hadn’t really had the time to check out the content on his channel. Anyways, keep on truck’n bro, love your stuff.

The whole benefit of electric motors is not needing the transmission, maybe it someone told him to stop buying blx sensorless setups from Jenny’s and try proper sensored combo then he’d open his eyes 😂
