Evil MEPlaysGames is taking the day off because we have a few notes on this video. Like we said, Rising Voltage is pretty usable even if the user isn’t grounded, but I don’t think we made it very clear why it was included in the video. We brought it up primarily to compare and contrast it with Expanding Force. It’s not a terrible synergy on a Zapdos, but the moves share a lot in common. We wanted to untangle the differences in this video to show why Expanding Force is worse than Rising Voltage for flying and levitating Pokemon. There is one Pokemon that used to be able to change genders, but it’s no longer possible. Azurill is 75% female, but its evolutions’ gender ratios are 50/50. Prior to gen 6, female Azurill had a 1 in 3 chance to become a male Marill, depending on its personality value. In any case, you’ve never been able to change a Pokemon’s gender without also changing its species We did some more research while editing, and it turns out that Raygun being listed as the #1 breakdancer was in fact not rage bait. When it comes to World DanceSport Federation events, many breakdancers only take part in enough competitions to make it to the Olympics, and Raygun was one of those people. Last October, she competed in the Oceania championships and came in first. That was the only ranked event she participated in, giving her a score of 1,000 points. Olympic placements are not included in the rankings, so her last place finish in Paris didn’t affect her standing. There were also no ranked events in the 8 months leading up to the Olympics. So her placement has more to do with a faulty ranking system.
5:22 Sloths in real life are actually so slow that algae grows on them in a symbiotic relationship, and that could in theory allow them to gather sunlight in a magical Pokémon world.

If Synchronoise wasn't removed in Gen 8, the following families would also be weak to it - Rapid-Style Urshifu - Quaquaval ONLY - Pawmo + Pawmot (Only if taught to Eevee that evolved into Jolteon) - Flamigo - Iron Hands (Only if taught to Eevee that evolved into Jolteon) - Iron Valiant - Galarian Weezing - Fezandipiti - Iron Moth (Only if taught to Eevee that evolved into Flareon) - The Shroodle Line - The Toxel Line (Only if taught to Eevee that evolved into Jolteon) - Galarian Zapdos - Blaze Breed and Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros (Blaze Breed only if taught to Eevee that evolved into Flareon) Bringing the total up to 37 And to be honest, I *WISH* they kept it in the game, maybe Urshifu wouldn't be so overpowered if that was the case. Have a Water Type on the field that hits it with a 120 power psychic type move would be amazing.
it's dumb that the Lake Trio learns Expanding Force naturally YET THEY CAN'T FULLY UTILIZE IT BECAUSE THEY FLOAT, the condition that they must be grounded needs to be removed
I posted this in one of your shorts, but I'll repeat it here. There is a niche way to use synchronoise on umbreon. The move miracle eye makes it so that every move will connect on the pokemon it's used on. It also has the benefit of making psychic type move able to touch dark type pokemon. So if an alakazam uses miracle eye on a pokemon and then switches to umbreon, then the umbreon can use synchronoise. I don't really see a use for this thing except maybe making a funny team in doubles.
I'm calling you out on saying Sunny Day is a bad move for Heliolisk. Yes, it's bad if Heliolisk has Dry Skin, but Heliolisk can also have Solar Power, boosting its Special Attack in the Sun.
If we get super technical, harden isn’t fully useless on shedninja, if you sub baton pass from a teammate the sub has the quarter HP of the teammate, and damage calc will use def stat from shedninja
Hot take: harden on shedinja can be somehow useful. For example, cyclizar uses the move shed tail and switch out giving a sub on shedinja; the substitute will have 1/4 of the user's HP, so shedinja will have a substitute with 25% of cyclizar's HP. But now for damage calculation the game will use shedinja's defense stats. So if a shedinja got a +6 defense boost from its own harden maybe its substitute can survive some weak attacks, like lick. So yeah.. this is kinda impossible to do, but you get the point xD

Still likely to get pummeled unless you open with Shedinja and a Lightning Rod Seaking and have it use Soak on Shedinja, then trade it out for the Ditto, transform, then swap Shedinja back out for the Seaking. Though Counter lost the normal/fighting quirk in gen 2, it's worth noting that before gen 4 all Hidden Power types are physical because the move is treated as normal type for the purposes of Counter. This means you could use Gengar's Counter even if it was hit by Hidden Power of a special attacking type like ice or grass. That also means you can't try using Mirror Coat against it, which could lead to some similarly bad use cases. Don't get caught slipping!
Ground type Pokémon learning Mud Sport isn’t good… in 1v1, but double battles and triple battles it’s ideal since it spreads to its allies making potential fish and bird Pokémon less susceptible to electric moves.
