The English seaside is a never-ending source of interest, and this part of it is clearly no exception. Knowing how sand dunes like to encroach on anything nearby, I wonder how much effort has to go into keeping those last beach huts you showed from being taken over! Thank you for another excellent video.
From the groins near the pier, past the huts on the beach, to the harbour the amount of sand never seems to change. The town however has changed alot since I was a lad.lots of the houses are now second homes, bought by wealthy Londoners as weekend retreats. Local people have been priced out, even the beach huts on the prom change hands for around £150000.The independent shops have gone, replaced by chain coffee shops, expensive delis, and designer clothes shops. Thanks for following along Jim 👍
How beautiful is Southwold, love the lighthouse poking out behind the houses! Those beach huts looked well maintained on the front, the whole place looks really nice! Appreciate you great filming and edit, we need to visit there👍
It’s a wonderful town to visit, we would highly recommend it. The beach huts are lovely to look at but very expensive - can you believe one was up for sale in 2022 for £150,000. We think they may well fetch more than that now! Thanks again for your comment, Selina & Tim
Thank you Yasmin - the lighthouse is such an amazing building we were pleased to be able to use the drone over the town to add to the video. It is a special place - thank goodness we have finally had a bit of reasonable weather, albeit a bit windy ! 😃
It’s certainly a nice place to visit. Might be a bit flat for you though 🙂. Thankfully the weather here in the east is a little less wet but we’ve been looking at the forecast for the north west and it’s still looks ‘changeable’ (wet). Fingers crossed for better weather to come. Thanks for your comment, Selina & Tim

Lovely to see you out in our home county...can't beat a visit to Southwold, A pint of Adnams followed by an afternoon crabbing in Walberswick.
…don’t forget the fish and chips on the way home. I remember crabbing in Walberswick as a boy in the summer holidays

Great 👍
Thank you very much.
Lovely place for a wander. Best wishes out there. Been a very wet start to the year. Great to be out in the fresh air though.
