Thanks Greg, it was a lot of fun. Setting out the course, seeing all the archers enjoying themself 2 days, getting all the positive feedback and promises they will be back next year. It's all very rewarding even when I only had about 1 hour to shoot the course myself! 😅 Allready making plans for next year's setup!
Ça me rends fou de voir qu’on autorise à utiliser un décocheur avec un barebow et même avec un bowhunter !!! Là on a atteint les sommets de la stupidité .... comment peut-on autoriser ça ? Pfffff 😤🤬🤬🤮👹
I'll try to answer in English because my French would be insufficient I'm afraid, I hope you don't mind and understand. We had 4 archers during the weekend shooting a barebow/hunting bow with a release. For them it's the only way to continue shooting a bow besides a compound. 3 of them suffer from severe arthritis in their hands and an other one had an accident at work, I believe he got a large piece of glass in his hands and now is unable to hold the string anymore. So these archers don't us a release to be better or more accurate ,but just to keep doing what they love! Our indoor shoot is just for fun so we don't apply a lot of rules and most archers shoot in the same class. But even in our official competition, if you have a doctors prescription that's says you can't draw your bow anymore because of medical/health reasons you are allowed to use a release aid. I hope this is understandable for you. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Great Job on the set up, looked like a lot of fun.
