A plausible conclusion to that character and great launch for other character story lines. Wow, well done chosen!!!!
The crucifixion is S6. All 8 episodes cover the last 24 hrs and the death. Then S7 is the resurrection to ascension.

Cause that person wasn't really mentioned in the gospels so hard to keep that storyline going
