Stab election ! love the song
such an amazing guy. so so so much love
Brilliant, I wish, more than anything labour had got in, unfortunately as the forde report demonstrated, certain people within labour were working against Jeremy. I worked hard, canvassing, leafletting and endless debates on social media, trying to get Jeremy into numbers 10, I did the same in 2019.. it was so disheartening how all that effort was undermined within the party xxx
This was fucking class at Sensible Sundays
This is an absolute tune
If only they’d have listened

+Jacob Heathman A book by Fox News contributor and dyed-in-the-wool Hayek/Mises-worshipper Thomas Sowell? Haha, piss off with that sophistic spam garbage. Sowell and his ilk are irrelevant this side of 2009. That book of yours came out in 2007, by the way - I have no doubt it's hilariously obsolete by now.
Chris McSweeney I'm sure you're the pinnacle of econ training. I'm a Econ masters student. Thomas Sowell had valuable things to say about 2009, especially pointing out that there are supply pressures pushing up prices as well as demand pressures. There's nothing wrong with Sowell's book, it's fundamentally good economics and he's a really great writer.
You're an economics masters student who's subscribed to extreme-right, charlatan internet conspiracy-theorists like Paul Joseph Watson, Gavin McInnes, Ben Shapiro, Lauren Southern and Steven Crowder. Given your public endorsement of that bunch of fruitcakes, I seriously doubt that in the book Sowell is espousing "good economics", or is a "great writer".
I've seen literally hours of Sowell's pontificating around the web - there's really no better word for it than "sophistry". Post-2009, the right-Libertarian Austrian-School dogma that both you and he are rigidly a fan of looks more useless than ever.
Surely they teach you on your course that a great deal of economics is inherently guess work and interpretation, heavily biased by one's politics?
Chris McSweeney you clearly don't know anything about him, he's not an Austrian economist. You don't know what you're talking about, you support Labour, so you also can't do maths. Simmer down.

Good but don't use the witch analogy just cause she's a woman. It's sexist.
