- It's been a while since I used SynthV, and I feel like it's become a lot easier to use now! Also there's vocal fry (and growl) which is awesome~ (I've always wanted that feature)
I had a lot of fun making this, as it's a song I've loved for a long time. I first heard it from a nicovideo medley (I think it was nanairo medley) and I think a lot of other people first heard the song the same way!

I mean she's good but IA is better in my opinion. It just takes a while to perfect her tuning and ceVIO is not the best synthesiser

Kyaami never fails to impress. If only the vocals were slightly clearer and less muffled this would be perfect.
I was completely blown away by the verses - the vocals and the distortion were spot on.
But the chorus, which is supposed to strongly contrast the verses with vocal clarity was kinda lacking in the clarity side (probably due to limitations in SynthV).
I think it's necessary, that Kyaami probably does it on purpose to disguise the tell-tale engine noise.

The song is muffled, besides the chorus. Its how the original song was, so it was done on purpose.
Well i've seen synthv engine. And believe me. This is the clearest vocal it can make. We'll just need for next synthV update.

That's certainly true. It's much better than what Vocaloid can do. Using the growls and screams on it is fun. I've made a couple of covers with that feature. I haven't released them yet, though, as I'm just experimenting.

I am curious, though: What's your preferred method of tuning in SynthV? Do you mainly use pitch deviation, note tuning, or the parameter widow?

Will you ever release a basic tutorial for using SynthV (seeing that it's free which means that more people can try it out compared to vocaloid)?
Also, I kind of find it hard to believe that this is created via a synthetic voicebank and not an actual singer.
Hmm I was thinking about it, but there's some official tutorials, and tbh I don't really do anything special! All the vibrato is just the built in vibrato, really mostly what I do is just adjusting pronunciation (like how long consonants are)
Last time I tried mucking around in SynthV, I couldn't figure out how to get the pronunciations sorted/adjusted correctly, which I think may be as a result of me not knowing which phonetics to put in to produce a specific sound. Is there a guide anywhere for phonetics to sound?
@@katsuura8179 Hm I'm not actually sure, I think there's a dictionary you can download off the forums? I didn't edit any phonemes specifically for this at all. For the most part if you just type in the whole word and then use + or - to carry the note (to the next note you want it to carry to) it tends to kind of just work. For consonant timing I just use the Note Property window.
Thought I might chime in here: SynthV uses (incomplete) 2-letter ARPABET for its English phonemes. You can look it up on Wikipedia, or use the in-software library (which I can't remember the menu path for off the top of my head).
@@katsuura8179 I will also note that if you do happen to purchase Synth V, then you can look at the Phenome Viewer by pressing alt + v.

You can get Eleanor to growl by opening up the glottal effects panel and selecting a customizable preset such as growl, scream, or vocal fry. You can only do this in Synthesizer V (as of now) though, I don't think they've added this feature to Synthesizer V Studio yet.

This song was always a key melody in my childhood due to growing up playing No More Heroes, and I'm glad it got some recognition. Points for making this cover distinct from the original!
What I surprisingly cherish about this is that I'm not the only one that admires Genki Rockets and not only that a Vocaloid?? This makes me very happy! Eleanor's voice balanced so perfectly with this song and a magnificent job with this!
