ngl, when you make the patch, add a small mechanic(if this is a night based storymode) make it so when the animatronic bypasses the cheesed door. Have the door break or jam for the remainder of the night and the entire next night. only being fixed after that(example being if you jam the door on night 1, its broken on night 2 and repaired night 3.) also give the player a note that hints at not cheesing the doors.
Sense. Almost all the animatronics use the door to make them go away. What about there is only one door and it’s the one that’s connected to your office make that a game mode it will be challenging and also fun Also, maybe you should add a new mechanic because all I see is if the animatronic is in your room taze them when they’re on the cameras near to your office close the door maybe I’d like one or two more mechanics? Those are a few ideas that I came up

wait you paid your workers..... honestly thats kinda weird for a fnaf game? its cool you did, but thats setting an unrealistic standard for most developers. pretty much everyone makes a FANgame because theyre a fan and make it out of passion and stuff. its weird for people to be paid for a fnaf fangame like this. like i remember asking some dude if he wanted to help with an old fangame of mine and when i said it wasnt paid he was REALLY pissed off about how unreasonable that is and i couldnt manage to explain to him that fangames are made for fun and have no profit out of it.
what an odd take. if you want people's labor, you should pay them for their labor. not that complicated
if you can't pay people for their time and effort, then it's only reasonable that they'll take their skills elsewhere,, we all got rent to pay
@@CybenX_yt as I already said, fnaf fangames are not a for-profit business. It's not normal to be paid for one considering theres no money being made from it. Furthermore, as I already said, fangames are made out of passion and for fun, and if anybody wants to help out, they are also doing it purely because they want to. Fnaf fangame development is a HOBBY, not a JOB. Additionally, most fangame developers are still kids and do not have rent to pay, so how do you expect them to pay workers? Really, I do think people making fangames should be paid, but unfortunately it's a FREE FANGAME and we don't live in fantasy land.
@@idoblenderstuffs it's pretty normal to pay people for labor, doesn't matter if the game's free or not. if people are dedicating their time, effort, and skills, that's worth money.
it sucks that children can't fund that, but hey, that's what happens when you're a child without a real job- you can't afford high quality work from skilled artists, because at the end of the day those workers have expenses that need to be covered. their time is valuable and in this economy most adults can't just dedicate hours of their days for free- they could be using those hours to work for the money they need to make ends meet. that's why kids are usually only able to get other kids to work on their stuff, because they're all still supported by their parents- pretty irrational to expect any skilled adult to hop on an unpaid project in current year
get some perspective dude, fr- absolutely no need to call out Mike for compensating his workers for their time, that's literally how all *real* indie projects work, even free ones
@@CybenX_yt but it's not a REAL indie project. It's a five nights at Freddy's fangame. It's not normal to pay people for fnaf fangames. Mike definitely could have found normal fnaf fangame Devs who would do it for free, instead of paying some generic Devs like the graphic novel guy who clearly isn't familar with how the fangame dynamic works. Yes, it is WORTH money. It's great people are being paid for this. But it's a very unrealistic thing to ever be expected as standard and this well known figure presenting it like this could be misleading and make people think fangame development is a profitable business opportunity when it's not. It's a fangame.
I really feel like Mike just didn't realise that this is normally done for fun, and he offered payment to the modeller guy, and that guy would obviously not refuse the money and Mike was pretty much just mislead into thinking it's normal to pay people for a FANGAME. It's still cool he did pay them and it would be fantastic if everyone gets paid for fangames but that's just not a realistic thing to expect.
@@idoblenderstuffs it... absolutely is a real indie project. the team structure, rounds of testing, all that... IS game dev, and when working on a project of any decent scale, paid work is standard practice.
one game (at least at this scale) isn't going to change standards, if you want to keep expecting people to be cool with unpaid labor, fine. but taking care of your team is what the director/producer is ALWAYS responsible for, regardless of if the game is free or not. people's labor is never free, even if your project is "for fun"- if they want to give you their time, skills, and energy for no charge, that's their choice... but expecting that kind of offer is horribly immature and just straight up disrespectful
and don't make assumptions about how/why Mike offered money to his team, there's no way you'd know ANYTHING about how that went. if you're feeling all personally threatened about Mike PAYING HIS TEAM then that's on you.
if you can't pay for someone's labor then you don't deserve it- so compensate them for the time they're giving you, according to how much value THEY place on THEIR OWN time. small scale fangame projects aren't inherently exempt from paying people for their work. taking care of your workers is what you HAVE to do as a director/producer, if you can't do that, you either have to make the whole thing yourself or rely on the generosity people who can afford to give you free labor
