Hii, it's really an amazing explanation of all the points on the graph (also with the examples of materials and thier stess values at different points). You said that we will be gonaa discuss about that dip (after elastic proportional limit, which you have also named but I don't remember it now😅).. so kindly discuss about that point and also please make an complete video which includes the complete knowledge of these important graphs and topics (with the examples of your research based knowledge so that we can have a clear cut knowledge about that and don't have to spend the months in searching for these valuable information in books).. Hope you will stay fine and healthy. Keep us with you in your journey
Hey Ashish, I've got a question unrelated to this video. I'm 18, about to turn 19 soon, and I've failed the JEE once again. I recognize my mistakes; I didn't manage my resources properly and didn't heed my teachers' advice. I pursued my own path without much direction, and now I'm facing the consequences. I've invested three years into this exam, only to find myself in a miserable state. I tied my self-worth to those three letters, "IIT," and now that dream feels completely shattered. You weren't an IITian, yet you worked hard and overcame your struggles. Can I ever shake off this guilt and regain my confidence? Getting into an IIT as an undergrad was my goal, and failing to achieve it leaves me uncertain about my future. Even if I qualify for the GATE exam through hard work, I wonder if it'll ever fill this void. I believe you can offer some guidance. Thanks.
Time is the medicine, slowly everything will be fine. Jo hotaa hai, acche ke liye hotaa hai. Look at Ashish, he must have a dream of ISRO and BARC. He got it and then realize his actual future path he wants to pursue. So its not always what you want is the best for you. Be brave, be patient. I took diploma cause I know I cant get IIT, now I got IIT Kanpur through GATE exam.
@dipakbhamare3614 Thank you so much for sharing your experience. The 1st line felt very comforting. Not so comforting that it would make me careless and push me in my comfort zone, but comforting enough to make me make me hopeful for the future. For the past 3 years, I've been so obsessed with these 3 letters (IIT) that nothing below that doesn't fascinate me. And that's the exact problem. IIT ke speeches itna obsessed ho gya ki basic and achievable cheeze bhi nahi hasil kar paya. Thank you so much for sharing your experience❤
Good question Yes. Curve will be completely different. That’s called crushing test and for mild steel you’ll not see yield point phenomenon and stain hardening
11:04 You showed the true stress curve deviating from engg stress curve from the point of ultimate tensile strength but the chnage in are of mild steel rod can be significantly seen after the lower yield point . Why not deviate true stress curve from the lower yield point ?? Help me with my confusion.😊
Bro , I have been shortlisted for ISRO, but I'm already working in central government organisation where I could not get NOC from my department. What should I do ? What you have done for NOC while you were working in BARC , how did you managed for NOC for the interview of ISRO? will they take an undertaking from you. What is the scenario if one doesn't have NOC but want to attend the interview.
Hi sir can you make a playlist of Tuesday videos competition preparation like short note Class note Revision at one place Or may be a link sheet. Do you get the point?
Bro my aim is become a aerospace engineer . So i gave jee exam to study at iist. But i am not qualified for advanced. I missed by 2 percentile. I won't take a drop. My family suggested me to put aerospace engineering in any government colleges. But govt colleges in tamilnadu doesn't have that course. It only available in private college but i cant afford to pay that much. I have only two option to select B. E Electronic and Instrumentation or B. E ECE ... i have to choose in ug that was related to aerospace engineering . I was bit confused. Further i can study pg aerospace engineering.. So i request you give some suggestions about my problem please 😔😔
Hi Sir, thanks a lot for the richly informative and detailed explanation..just to have clarity, I have one doubt about the starting point of deviation of engg stress against true stress..is it at sigma_ult or after the luder's band?..Thank you.
I have 8.5 as of now in the end od second sem (messed up first year) and I think I can increase in further semesters... any problems I will face in future ... please reply sir!

If it have no proportionality limit what we do?
suppose instead of giving tensile load, you give compressive load to mild steel, will that make any difference in stress versus strain curve?
Good question
Yes. Curve will be completely different. That’s called crushing test and for mild steel you’ll not see yield point phenomenon and stain hardening
awesome as always! thanks brother 🔥
My pleasure!!
Sir why is strain is taken on x axis and stress is only taken on y axis..wt if we take opposite...
