I remember this game well. We started Barkley, who was a Frosh (which doesn't happen at SC.) Ohio came to playvthat night. Great victory, especially with that final drive.
How about that no call at 28:11... no play clock remaining and the refs let it go. Regardless the Buckeyes blew this game, had numerous chances to put them away. That long drive by Matt Barkley will always haunt me.
As an SC fan, I remember this game well. That year we started Barkley as a freshman (which is unheard of at SC.) When he led that game winning drive at the end, I was impressed. That crowd was raucus that night. That was the last great hurrah for the PC era. You guys definitely came to play that night. ✌️🏻
Here it's eleven years later and the Bucks STILL haven't crossed the goal line. OH....and the year before THE ohio st scored THE field goal...their ONLY score. They got their 'bucks' kicked!!

Pryor gave USC 7 off the rip. Then the officials made sure they did their part on the last drive. What intentional grounding with a WR in the area? That sapped all momentum for a game winning drive from the rip. It was a good game and hard fought. Pryor was a great athlete but his inaccuracy and decision-making were the real difference in this game.
Tressel literally kicking a fg on the 1 inch line when u have a 6’5 235 pound Terrell Pryor at Quarterback is absolutely insane. Also Ohio State punted from the USC 34 and 35 yard lines in the 4th quarter. Cmon Tressel u wanna talk about playing not to lose. Jesus. Other than the last 5 minutes of the first half of the Florida game in the national championship this was by far the worst coached game of Tressels career.

that’s cause he sucked even though he was a good athlete.

First time I ever saw Pete Carroll play such a conservative game but that last drive he chose to trust barkley
USC's offensive coordinator that year was 💩.

Ohio State lost because they were overrated. Had nothing to do with Pryor.
Sure don't miss the Jim Tressel offense.
Too damn conservative

Maybe SC's weakest team under Carroll with an 18 year old frosh qb still manages to go into the Shoe and beat OSU. LOL.
Not Jim Tressel's best-coached game at Ohio State, to say the least.
