Thanks Dan I had a quick question regarding the C5501, I've managed to pick up a 2nd machine off ebay KM C6501e. My technical guys in the UK just wont respond to me. Would you recommend that I turn the machine off every night from the 2 switches on the machine. And secondly, the new machine runs on Creo. Can I simply hook it up to the fiery from the old machine. Will it work on fiery. Or do I need to do something more technical? Id really appreciate your input on the 2 points.
@@BigPrintBham I just turn the power off from the top power button. Leave the inside power button on. Not sure on the RIP, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Great idea to have two machine with interchangeable parts!
@@justaprinter Thanks I got the idea from you. When watching the video of you fixing the transfer belt. You had a spare unit available. You took a small clip off it. The other thing is, I've not been happy with the overall quality of print on my machine for say 2 years. When ever I asked the engineer to resolve the issue, he would always put it down to the moisture in the air. Which honestly didn't always make sense to me. So I really wanted a replacement machine. Whoever when the C6501 became available at a low price. I thought if anything I can use it for parts.
@@BigPrintBham Hello, very good video, I'm surprised how you clean the direct head by rubbing the cotton with loa heads, they've always told me that I shouldn't clean the bottom, but only the sides, you could clarify that?
Great video. If I ever get back into wide format this is the machine I would buy.
Thanks Dan

You can clean the viper as well. Sometimes it will be a big lump of ink stuck in there.
Never ever wipe the nozzle-aerea any way.
If wiping, you will damage the sharp nozzle outlet.
I thought 🤔 you don't clean the heads nozzle part in the center you just clean the left right top bottom never center
